Chapter 10: DAMMIT

Natsu's POV

Ugh almost out of time! I looked over at Lucy thinking and shaking her leg. I can tell she's stressed out to. I really don't fell like getting creamed by those demons. I looked at the timer, bad idea now I'm even more stressed cause we have ten minutes!

Come on Luce I know you can think of something.

Lucy's POV

WHY CANT I THINK OF SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!

I can't use the step aside trick, cause we all know there stronger than us. I guess we could try and fail, I mean it's just a kiss. I can do that any time with Natsu. WAIT WHAT AM I SAYING. Just cause we kissed once doesn't mean we can do it any time, well I guess but it's weird, we're not used to it yet. Need a good moment to do it.

Why am I thinking of this, oh need to think of a plan! Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Maybe we could use magic, but I don't have any, guess Natsu's on his own, but let me check in with Natsu. And then tell Wendy not to tell Erza. Need this a secret.

I looked over to Natsu giving him a sly smirk.

Natsu's POV again

Lucy gave me an evil smirk. I guess she got something, man I sure am lucky to have this girl, smart, beautiful, funny, weird in a good way, and strong. * sigh * I love everything about her.

" Natsu are you awake, snap out of it "
" huh, did you get something? "
" yeah, all we need to do is a little magic, if you know what I mean. "
" ooooh, let's check in with Wendy and then tell me the plan "
" that's what I was going for "

We went to Wendy and asked her if we could use magic. She said yes but we asked her not to tell anyone. We never said if you could or couldn't use magic, so technically it's not cheating. She okayed it and Lucy started to tell me the plan.

" okay I need you to charge at Jelal, I grab erza's hand. Then I start kicking Jelal in the face, meanwhile you use your free hand to boil up the water making it to hot for them, your used to heat so you'll be fine right? .
" yeah, great plan.. I'm glad to have a smart girl like you! "
" awwww natsu, stop your making me blush "
" I did my job then "

~ Couple minutes later ~

Lucy's POV

Okay it's time, Natsu bent down for me to climb on his back. Erza and Jelal were right in front of us doing the Same thing. Honestly I think Erza should be on the bottom. She seems way stronger than Jelal, but hey that's only my opinion.

Wendy rung the bell and we charged at each other. Erza was yelling witch was intimidating me. Why does she have to act like its a war or something. We clashed hard, they were so strong that I almost let go. Luckily Natsu pushed me up.

I started to kick Jelal like I said in the plan. Erza trying to kick Natsu but I used my other leg to block it. I nodded at Natsu to go, and he put his hand in the water to boil it up. After a couple
Seconds. The water started to boil, Jelal started to panic.

Yes everything is going smoothly as planned.

Then something that shocked us all happened. Erza picked Jelal up and switched places wirpth him. Then Erza punched Natsu and we all fell.

The water cooled down so it was only warm, but I was in huge shocked. Actually we both were. Erza and Jelal were dancing around while streamers came flying down from nowhere. ( they sure did take his seriously )

Then we got out of the water and Erza took Jelal's hand and kissed him, aww that's so sweet.

Natsu's POV

DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT, i saw Erza kiss Jelal and I almost threw up. Ugh I'm supposed to be up there kissing Lucy!

( just wanted to get to the point on why in names the title )

Lucy's POV again

I saw Natsu pouting, aww he really wanted that kiss. I went to Natsu to cheer him up.

" are you okay Natsu? "
" no "
" are you sad that Erza won, or because you wanted to kiss me? "
" ................ B-both "
" Natsu listen "

I cupped his cheeks and spoke softly....

" you know that I love you, now to be honest....... I'm not so sure I-if "
" what? "

I started to get tears in my eyes, I don't want to say it. So I ran away like a coward.

" LUCY?! "

Everyone turned around to look at me running away.
