Chapter 5: sickness

Last time on chapter 4
" hey Luce "

I turned over and our faces were centimeters apart. For a dragon he had a pretty human face. Wait......WHAT!?

" n-na-NATSU!? "
" yeah I forgot to tell you I turn human at night."

I started freaking out but then Natsu put both of his SOFT hands on my face.

" calm down Lucy it's okay. No need to be spastic. "

I swear I was burning right now. Is it hot in this room or is it just me?

" are you sure I should be sleeping here? "
" huh? Why "
" cause I'm in bed with a....... Guy.. And I'm a...... Girl "

Then Natsu turned bright red.

" um.... Well I actually didn't think about that till you pointed it out. "
" I see. "
" well....... "

I grabbed his hand. Oh gosh it was so warm. I kinda just wanna snuggle in his big six pack chest. God who knew Natsu was so built. Oh crap what am I thinking. People would think I'm a creepy pervert if they knew what I was thinking.

" why don't we just get some sleep, and talk about this tomorrow, I'm mean we gotta get up early to go to Fairy Tail right? "

I gave him the warmest smile I could put on. And Natsu was really red to but nodded and closed his eyes.
About twenty minuets passed and I dozed off for a while but, couldn't really sleep. I opened one of my eyes and I was staring right into his chest. But don't get me wrong, there was nothing else to look at. Natsu had me in the tightest grip right on his chest. What else am I supposed to look at? But Natsu was unbelievably warm. Then after a while I fell asleep

( what she doesn't know was that Natsu was awake the whole entire time! )

~~in the morning~~

I woke up being enveloped by Natsu's arms, he was definitely asleep cause I could hear his slight snore, it was kinda cute. But I slightly nudged him on the face.

" five more minutes "
" Natsu we need to get up "

He opened one eye and had some drool on the side of his face. I started to snicker.

" what's so funny? "
" you got some drool on the side of your face. "

He wiped his face, and then he completely woke up when he realized that he was still holding me.

" oh I'm sorry Luce, I didn't realize! "
" nah it's fine. You kept me all warm and cozy. "

Then I hugged my self to show him, he was blushing again, I can tell he doesn't come close to girls often.

" alright so do you wanna take the shower first? "
" yeah, and can you ask Erza for some clothes again till my dress is clean? "
" yeah, you go in the shower and I'll get some clothes on "
" alright "

I went in the shower and then cleaned my self, I didn't feel like bathing today, I was excited to see the guild. But something was off, I still had the head ache from yesterday. This is weird.

I got out of the shower and found a red and pink shirt with light blue jean shorts, with a pair of pink and white shoes.
My hair was still down though, maybe I'll ask levy for a rubber band later. But I kinda feel bad having to use their clothes all the time, maybe on the way to the guild I'll stop bye a market with levy.

I came out and Natsu wasn't in the room, but then I felt a shot of pain in my head. It was pounding like crazy. I looked up and my eyes were watery and blurry, I heard happy come into the door and saw me on kneeling on the floor. I could hear him call my name over and over again but then, everything went black.

- Natsu's point of view -

I could hear Lucy in the shower still so I went into the dining room for breakfast to wait for her, Erza already put her clothes in the bathroom so all I did was wait. After a couple of minutes, I heard the doors slam open. It was happy, and he had tears in his eyes. We were all staring at him to see what was wrong.

" it's....its LUCY! "
" what do you mean, what's wrong? "
"She....she was on the floor crying and holding her head when I went up to her she passed out! "
" WHAT! Is she in the room? "
" yeah "

I was worried, why was she holding her head? I need to see her and take her to our infirmary.
I opened my door and there she was passed out on the floor, I picked her up and took her to Wendy, d
She's also a healer. But I had to be careful with my hands because I'm back in my dragon form.

Night time
Lucy's point of view

I woke up in a white bed, it kinda looked like a hospital, I felt something heavy on my side. I looked at it and it was Natsu sleeping and holding my hand. I heard him say something.

" ru-shy "

Was he trying to say my name? Oh that's the cutest thing I've ever heard. Natsu's so adorable, dragon or human, I could actually fall for him. Then I saw Wendy come in.

" hi Lucy sama how are you feeling? "
" a little better but I still have the headache, it wasn't as bad as before though. "
" i see, do you have any idea as to why you felt your head hurt? "
" well I've had it since yesterday, at dinner, but once I came out of the shower, my knees felt numb and my head started pounding really hard. "
" have you been outside recently? "
" no "
( the garden is indoors with a glass pane, so It doesn't count )
" I see your problem "
" you do? "
" your probably not use to the cave air, so your body is not use to breathing here, you should probably go outside "
" okay but can it wait? "

I looked down at Natsu and smiled while petting his back. Wendy smiled and nodded. I closed my eyes for a bit, then I felt skin. HOLY FRICK BALLS UH..... A SHIRT YEAH HE NEEDS A SHIRT. I heard Natsu mumble and shift around. I think I need wake him up.

" Natsu, Natsu wake up! "
" but rushy "
" Natsu Dragneel, wake up now! "

His eyes opened and stared at me. His face lit up and jumped for a hug.

" uh, Natsu! do you mind putting some clothes on? "
" oh sorry, good thing have pants on when I go back to human "
" do you rather stay a dragon? "
" well, no,because when I'm on dragon for, nothing tastes or feels the same. "
" oh, "
" but enough bout that, are you okay? You made us all worried "
" yeah Wendy wanted me to get air out of the cave "
" then why didn't you go? "
" I wanted to wait for you "

He blushed and the picked me up bridal style. luckily he still had clothes on, or else I would be feeling some skin on skin contact. Thank you Natsu for being a gentleman. He ran all the way till we reached the door. He pushed it with one hand and winked at me like last time. I giggled and he sat Me on the grass. I was still in my shorts and t shirt. But my shoes were off since i was in bed. The grass felt nice and cool, and the air was fresh, I stood there for a while taking in the breeze. I saw Natsu in my corner vision he was staring at me blushing. Why does this boy blush so much? I looked over to him and patted next to me so he could sit with me. It was night and we sat there looking at the stars In silence. Natsu was warm to so I wasn't to cold.

I think I made a good decision to leave. And in a couple months I'll be married to a man I might be falling for. And then, well I think I'm getting ahead of my self, I'm just gonna wait and see what happens after that, but I know it'll be a good future.
