"Alright" Emma sighed, dumping the last bag of trash in the dumpster. She wiped her hands on her apron of sorts, stepping back into the kitchen as she pulled it off, hanging it on the rack. "Visiting hours just started which means I'm officially late" Emma groaned as she passed Fletcher, patting him on the back.
"Go, I'll hold down the fort" he laughed, smiling as she walked past the bar. Lexie looked up from her phone, letting it clatter loudly on the wooden surface.
"Where the fuck do you think you're going?" Lexie asked, popping a bubble. Emma stopped in her tracks, gritting her teeth together. Lexie could talk like that considering at the moment they only had one customer and they were a drunk, passed out in one of the booths.
"I told you I'm leaving early today. I have somewhere to be" Emma replied, slowly turning around to meet the much shorter, dumber girl.
"I don't think so. I'm the boss, so I make the rules. Get your ass back in the kitchen and get to work. You're done when I say you're done" Lexie barked, turning around. Her long blonde hair whipped Emma in the face, her anger rising.
"You know what bitch? I don't think so" Emma told her, placing her hands on her hips. Fletcher looked up from what he was doing, his eyes going wide.
"Emma" he warned, biting his lip as he watched Lexie turn around slowly.
"The fuck did you just say to me?" Lexie asked, Emma exhaling heavily from her nose. "That's what I thought, fucking slave" Lexie grabbed her glass of cranberry cocktail, turning and "spilling" it on Emma's white shirt. Emma gasped, staring down. "Oops, looks like you're on cleaning duty tonight too" she smirked, popping her bubble loudly in Emma's face. Lexie turned around, walking away.
"You know what?" Emma growled, Lexie turning around again with an obnoxious sigh. "Fuck it" she swore. She swung, her fist connecting with Lexie's nose.
"AH! You bitch!" Lexie swore, stumbling back as blood began to pour down her face. Lexie swung at Emma, hitting her in the eye. Emma snarled, lunging forward as she tackled Lexie to the ground, pulling on her long blonde hair.
"I'm done with your shit!" Emma punched her in the face, Lexie's gum flying from her mouth. "I'm sick of taking orders from you, you pretentious bitch!" she swore again, yanking on her hair before punching her again, Lexie reaching up as she tried to claw at Emma. But Emma was much stronger, clearly winning the fight.
"Not the face!" Lexie cried, Emma laughing hysterically because of course, that's what Lexie was concerned about. Emma punched her in the jaw, Fletcher finally getting his arms around Emma as he tugged her away, Emma trying to throw one last punch.
"Okay, okay!" Fletcher said, prying Emma from her. "You got her alright" Fletcher said, arms wrapped tightly around Emma. She was breathing heavily, looking down on Lexie, who's face was covered in blood, bruises already starting to bloom. Emma smiled when she saw her blonde hair messy and knotted. "Damn girl, you really showed her" Fletcher whispered, trying not to laugh.
"What the fuck are you looking at?" Lexie spat, blood dripping down her chin. She stood up quickly, trying to smooth out her shirt. She ended up stumbling to the side, resting on the counter as she tried to play it off. "You're fired" Lexie told her, Emma throwing her head back in laughter.
"Great" she chuckled, patting Fletcher's back as he finally decided Emma wasn't at risk for killing Lexie. "Good luck my friend" Emma smirked.
"I got the whole thing on video. Seriously, you forgot your phone and I was going to give it to you but I figured you'd rather the most epic smack down of your life on tape" Fletcher grinned, handing her the phone.
