AN: Some of this story isn't cannon

Percy stared at Rachel. His eyes making contact with her's. A dangerous game to play. He didn't care, and didn't want to either. His news was too important for him to wait and do his work. Percy watched as her face turned a bright pink, then she looked away from him.

The clock ticked slowly and the class hour felt like centuries. Percy wanted to scream. He was in middle of a test and wasn't allowed to talk, and his important news needed to be spilled. Percy quickly circled the last few answers on his test and turned it in.

The teacher looked up at Percy with astonishment, and took the paper from the tray it was placed in. Then quickly looked over at the test, waiting to making corrections if they were needed. It was the fastest he graded the test. A perfect score. One that would have taken a lot studying to achieve. It had been on Greek Mythology. The teacher scratched his head in wonder.

Percy watched the teacher grade his paper. Knowing that the teacher would try to accuse him of cheating. He watched as the teacher got up from the desk and walk over to him. The teacher cleared his throat and motioned to his paper. Percy look at the paper amused. Rachel looked up from her book. She had finished the test ten minutes earlier, and scored well enough.
"May I go to the library?" Percy asked. The man chocked. Blinked a while, before giving Percy his answer. The teens waited. The man couldn't voice his accusations anymore. "I don't see why not." He replied.

Percy internally cheered while he packed his things. He looked over at Rachel again. She looked back at him, winking. It was his turn to blush. "Mr.Collins, may I also go to the library?" Rachel asked. The teacher had walked away from the pair and was back to his desk. He then turned to the pair and addressed Rachel. "Only if you keep an eye on that one."

Both Rachel and Percy smiled. They headed out the door with passes and whispers of rumors about them being together. Percy rolled his eyes in annoyance, the rumors were stupid and couldn't even begin to reach the truth. He glanced towards Rachel, studying her features. Looking her over, Percy determined that Rachel was pretty, but he wouldn't date her. He could sense that Rachel wanted to date him. A small part of him wanted too as well. He knew better, even if it would make Annabeth slightly jealous.

Silence filled the air between the two, as they walked. Percy wanted to badly tell Rachel but knew that the walls had ears. "Percy, why are we headed away from the library?" He stopped in his tracks and looked around. "Fuck!" Percy swore softly. Rachel's eyes widen. Percy ran a hand through his hair and smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, I guess am caught up in my thoughts." He whispered to a distressed Rachel.

Rachel looked at Percy for a while before dismissing his unusual behavior.
"Boys are always like that, Sweetie." Her mother would often say if Rachel asked for advice. She crossed her arms, and watched Percy tense up. "Like he is preparing for a fist fight..." Rachel thought. Rachel waited for Percy to open up, that was how it was with him. Just give him time. She smiled sweetly at him as she waited for him to open up."

"Rachel, I'm pansexual." Percy whispered as he looked down at the floor in embarrassment. Rachel laughed as she leaned into Percy for a hug.
"I have known, Percy." She whispered back as she walked away from Percy and headed for the library filled with her favorite books.
