He use to go by the name of Michael, but that was a very long time ago. He had the back of his head shaved short and 3-4 inch bangs in the front, though they were usually slicked back, he was a fit 6 foot Italian & Japanese mutt and he was always smiling which usually made all the girls melt. We were in the same course at our local college. All though I've known him since we were children, we were inseparable as kids, whether it was going to the shower or to the bathroom we were always together. I think it was around the time of middle school that we started to notice the Curiosity he had towards the world. If I had to explain him in a few words id say he's A Very Wide Ranged Thinker. By that I mean even if it was the smallest of topics he always went above and beyond to see every side of it.

By the time we were in our senior year of high school we started to get into some trouble. We both started smoking pot, and one time while we were smoking in an old abandoned house some cops showed up and we got arrested. Thanks to his older sister we made bail, but boy was she mad,. She was always watching out for him ever since their parents died. She was his light, without her around I couldn't even imagine what he would've been like. But then things started going down hill, one late night on our way home some small time gang tried jumping us for some quick cash, although we were always pretty good fighters so it didn't really go well for that gang. The next day some more of them showed up around our school, it looked like they were questioning people about us. There were too many of them for us to do anything, so we just avoided them and they eventually went away. After school we ended up going to the gym and lifting for a few hours. By the time we left, it already started to get dark out. We decided to go back to his house and grab a few beers, but as we started to pull into the drive way, he noticed several holes where his windows once were, as soon as the car stopped he jumped out and ran inside. I didn't even turn off the car before I came running in after him. But when I walked inside he was on the floor with his sister in his arms. I was too startled to even speak a word. I was surprised he even recognized her, all her hair was shaved off her clothes (What was left of them) were shredded, and there was so much blood coming from what looked like four different wounds. She had to knife sized openings in her stomach, a missing hand and there was also a lot of blood coming from in between her legs. She was gone, the one thing he cherished most in the world and she was gone. This started a series of events that no one would have ever expected.

After the police got over the assumption that it was us, mike went and disappeared. I tried calling, texting, stalking his house and even emailing him, but not a word. At one point I even tried talking to the cops but they said since he's 18 and no longer under suspicion he had the right to go wherever he wanted. So for about two weeks I just kept trying to reach him I was even missing school, but the one-day I went back I got news that sent chills through every bone in my body. It felt as if death himself decided to stand right behind me breathing down my neck. It was around the time of lunch that my friend Aaron came up to me asking all these questions about where's mike been and have the cops been asking questions, at first I was just trying to blow off all the questions but then It hit me, why would the cops be asking questions? Aaron knew we weren't under suspicion anymore. So I asked him and for a second he went silent as if I just asked him something completely unbelievable. Then he said "Because.. That gang the cops believed rapped and killed his sister was found today 2 hours away, they were all dead, and it seems like all of them were tortured in one way or another before they died." "The cops are really confused right now there prime suspect is Mike but they cant find any evidence of him being anywhere near the crime scene, in fact that have no clue where he is its like he was never here, they decided to raid his house and it was completely wiped clean, no prints anywhere, even that old wine stain on the rug was completely gone." At the moment I was completely frozen, so many thoughts were rushing through my mind half of it was all about what I should do next, should I go look for mike or let the police handle it but what if I'm the only person who could find him, wait but even if I did what would I do should I turn him in? No he's like my brother maybe I should help him get away or should I just scold him and let him decided what to do next, after all even though I'm scared shitless I'm honestly extremely happy there all dead, she was like a sister too me too, if only I could have been there to watch...
