Getting Home

My bike was a little bit curvy on my way back home due to the many thoughts I just couldn't get out of my head.

How were we supposed to run away when everyone else just couldn't get along.

Maybe I should just go find some new friends.

What if I get found out.

And why is my bike not moving.

I look down, realizing I am stuck in the dead center of a mudpit.

I look around, and I realize I'm also in the dead center of a field.

Fear hits me first. Then comes worry.

"HELLO!" I scream.

Honestly, I should know that there's nobody there, but trying is the only possible way to know.

Nobody answers. And I feel suddenly completely alone. There's a silence, as if they was not a living thing with me.

And that's when I heard a bird chirp.

I started breathing normally again.

I looked down at my phone. Today, I was going to use up our data.

I turned wifi off, and went on maps, which directed me home.

Except, who knows, there could be a random bear den or sudden cliff that was randomly set in between here and my house.

So I thought it through thoroughly, and began my journey back home.

That's when the prickles came.

I call them prickles. I mean, like most people would call them thorns or something like that, but these were prickles.

And they were in my way.

So I took out a hairbrush from my bag, and whacked the over-grown weeds out of my way. Not a prickle had gotten anywhere on me, until it did.

Ok. I'll just skip this.

Who wants to know about my prickle story. Seriously. Nobody.

So I had FINALLY gotten home, when the bus passed by my house.

But being me, I already had a car.

Maybe it was from my moms guilt for being an "awful parent" but she usually would buy me expensive things almost every month.

My car's an newer :: and I absolutely love it.

But I grab my keys and hop inside, only to find that my mom "accidentally" spilt some coffee on my dashboard.

I look at it, but my OCD gets the best of me and I rush back into my house to grab a wet rag.

I cleaned it off, and looked at my watch as I started up the car.

I had ten minutes.

I drove off, almost speeding way over the limit, and speed-stopping in my schools parking lot. I was definitely not parked inbetween the lines. But honestly, who cares, I wasn't late!

I got to my locker with four minutes to spare. Grabbing my stuff and heading off to first period.

And that's when I tripped over Foy.

Foy is absolutely gorgeous.

He's just, kinda sorta dating a girl (Ruth) but um Ruth is planning to end it soon sssssoooooo........

I grabbed my books and he looked at me with his gorgeous blue eyes and smiled and uuuuggghhhhh.

It was perfect.
