Broken Macaroni

chapter 10

                                                         Nick point of view.

I could have killed macy this morning, geez who would just let their brother try to take a shower when all that was left was cold water. Yeah i would do it to her and i have, but all brothers would, i was no exception.

But i got even i knew i was supposed to give her a ride to school with me, too bad she decided to pull a joke on me. I didnt completely leave her stranded though, derek was there. i knew she wasnt his biggest fan which was a plus in my mind, so techniqually i got even twice and all before nine in the morning.

I had made it to my auto tech class almost ten minutes early since i was trying to leave without macy. Maybe leaving her hurt me too. Oh well the look on her face was priceless, it was shock, anger and confusion. Im pretty sure i wasnt the only thing that caused the anger expression.

Our dad had called the house last night around eleven to tell us he was coming home from chicago. which didnt bother me since it was the same when he was at home as when he was gone. But macy took it differently.

When he had hung up on us macy had stormed off into her room and slammed the door. I really didnt understand why since it wasnt like he was home at the moment to chase her up the stairs. Whatever, girls are confusing even when you are related to them.

Ok lets clear something up that everyone asks me and macy. we are in the same grade because i had started school late and macy had started early (like everything else...except driving). We are a year apart, i am the older, wiser, and handsome one obviously.

I sat looking out the window for the next ten minutes, it was more entertaining than i had thought though. So much stuff happens infront of a window that most people just miss.

There was first the drama with kelly and Jake. the two were the 'it' couple of summer cantel highschool....well they were. I saw it first and knew about it before the rest of the school, if i was a girl i would tell others but im not. its none of my buisness anyways, its not like kelly was going to go out with me. so they broke up is basically it since i cant read lips.

only a couple minutes after kelly and jake parted i saw kelsey. Perfect loud mouth, sisters bestfriend kelsey, and what was she doing? She had been almost stalking my sisters locker for the past 5 minutes. I have no idea why but it was entertaining to watch her mistake people as macy. Honestly me and kelsey didnt get along, she didnt like people messing with macy and i liked messing with macy which kinda made us enemys. Well we talk and stuff but we arent friends, more like acquantinces. well while kelsey searched for macy i decided to watch something else, something more entertaining.

As i scanned the view of the window i saw a familiar camaro pull up. It was macy and derek, it was what i had been waiting for. I watched closely as macy got out waiting for her to show some kind of emotion. But the one she showed was not one of the many i was waiting to see..It was happy/calm. hold on thats not what i had left 15 minutes early, sat in class for 10 minutes and look out a window for the whole time to experience.

"im not leaving early again" i said to myself as i turned back to face the teacher when the bell rung. i had wasted my free time in the morning doing nothing, absolutely nothing and it annoyed me.

 i put my head down on my desk expecting it to be the same old, guys joking, the teacher thinking we were listening and me just sleeping or talking to derek. Auto tech was one of the classed called a 'blow off class' which meant it was a class you did very little in and passed. Best part about it was that it was two class periods long, which let me catch up on sleep and copying homework.

Today was a sleep day, ignoreing derek as he walked in i fell asleep.
