What goes around, comes back around (Dance Moms Fic)

Chapter 4: Rehearsal

After stretching for ten minutes, Chloe, Brooke, Paige, Ava, C.S., Haley and Ashtin all stood up ready to find out the assigments were gonna be.

"Our group dance will be called Crystalize and for the solos, Chloe and Ava will have the solos against Maddie and Kendall. Brooke and Paige will have a duet against Kalani and JoJo."

"Chloe, your solo is hip hop and it's called How Ya Like Me Now. It's about overcoming odds when people write you off and they can't stand it when you finally succeed and get the last laugh." Ryan explained as Chloe nodded. "Now i know Hip Hop is not your forte, but i'll help you."

Then Ryan headed over to the laptop to play the song by Kool Moe Dee, and then Ryan began doing some hip hop moves as Chloe looked on. Then when he was done, Chloe put her heart and soul into the dance, she thought of all the times that Abby tried to verbally destroy her spirit as she started dancing and unlike at the ALDC, Jeanette's studio was a breath of fresh air as Chloe did the hip hop moves.

"Watch that leg, Chloe." Ryan said in a tough, but not degrading voice like Abby would as he pointed out the flaw he saw, so Chloe straightened her leg and her dancing spirit was slowly but surely starting to comeback as she pushed Abby's habits to the past and finished her dance on the first try after fixing her flaws with hip hop, which was rare as she got stronger with each move.

"How did i do?" Chloe asked hesitantly, fearing that he would yell at her like Abby did.

"That's looks great, Chloe!" Ryan told her. "But we'll work on it again to make sure. Why don't you head to the dressing room while mom works with Ava."

Chloe obediently walked out of the studio room and headed to the dressing room where Ava, Haley, Chloe S, Ashtin, Brooke and Paige were sitting.

"Ava, your mom wants to work with you on your solo." Chloe told her.

Ava got up from one of the seats and walked into Studio 1 and saw that Ryan had left and was in the front desk and in the studio was Jeanette.

"All right, Ava. Your solo is entitled Smoke and Mirrors, which is a contemporary routine." Jeanette explained to her daughter, then she went to the laprop and played the song, then Ava started her dance like there was no tomorrow. "Ava, your foot is sickled."

Ava pointed her foot and continued to dance as her mother pointed out the flaws, she corrected them and finished her dance.

"Ava, we'll work on your solo, get a drink of water." Jeanette said as Ava obediently walked to the dressing room, then Brooke and Paige's duet, named Caged Bird was worked on and then the group dance, named Crystalize was rehearsed, ending the day.

In the living room of JC's Broadway Dance Academy, Christi, Kelly, Eliza, Melanie and Jennifer were all just talking and laughing, which was unusual in the Abby Lee Dance Company, but in JC's Broadway Dance Academy, there was a lot less drama and more dancing.

"To be honest, i can't wait to see Abby's face when she sees how much Chloe has improved and beats Maddie." Christi stated.

"You know, Abby should learn a lesson, it's not just one dancer, dancing is a team effort and every dancer should get an equal chance." Melanie added.

"Yeah, at least Ryan, Jeanette and everybody here treats the dancers like they actually matter unlike Abby." Kelly said.

"But Abby'll find a way to start stuff with us even if we beat them." Eliza warned.

Around 8:40 PM, everyone went home Ryan arrived at his house and relaxed, then he went to bed and one thing was for sure, the minute the Abby Lee Dance Company sees Jeanette's new team, fireworks were definitely going to go off...
