Chapter 2

Picture of Carter with glasses. He's so damn hot.

Once again this morning I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock beeping. I groaned and buried my face in my pillow before getting up and turning off my alarm. I stood from my bed and stretched my arms above my head and yawned before walking into my closet. I grabbed out some maroon colored leggings, a cream sweater and grey knee high socks that would go great with my ugg boots. I placed them on my bed and went to my bathroom to shower.

After my shower, I ran a brush through my still sorta wet hair and and wrapped it in a high pony tail, no wanting to deal with it today. I slipped on my clothes and went over to my dresser to do my make-up. Once I was done, I grabbed my phone, headphones, book bag and a change of clothes for cheer try-outs right after school day and headed downstairs. I threw my book bag by the front door and headed into the kitchen to see my brother eating cereal while scrambling to get his homework done. "Played video games all night again?" I smirked as I decided to just have some yogurt and fruit for breakfast. I sat on the stool next to Carter and peeled off the top to my yogurt as he gave a playful glare.

"For your information, no. I wasn't playing video games all night. I turned the game off after Justin left. I took a shower and went to bed." He went back to working on his homework. I finished off my yogurt and started to eat my strawberries.

"You have 15 minutes before we are going to be late." I threw away my trash and went to put on my ugg boots and fix my hair one last time before waiting by Carter's car for him. He came out the house five minutes later, with his bookbag on his shoulder and his keys in his hand. I hopped in when he started the car and we drove to school.

As soon as we got to school, I was pulled out of the car into the arms of Dustin and Adam. "Morning to you too." I grumbled and re-adjusted my balance on the ground. They just grinned and put their arms around me and walked with me into the school. "Are you guys ready for Cheer try-outs tonight Adam?"

Adam smiled and nodded. "Hell yeah. I've been working out more and I have really brought up my endurance."

"Me too. I have been working out so much more. I think I'm going to be flying this year." I said smiling hopefully. I have been wanting to be a flyer for the past few years and my coach kept telling me that I would have to keep working at it because I still wasn't ready. This year will be my year though.

"I know you will be. I saw your video submission and it was amazing. Hopefully you get the spot." He opened his locker and grabbed out a few books. Dustin saw his friends from the lacrosse team and waved bye to us before joining them by their lockers.

~Side Note: The cheerleading team that Adam and Peyton are on is a competition team only. They cheer for a gym and not a school's cheer team. It's purely competitive so they have to send in a video submission and if that is picked, they will move onto try-outs where the coach can see them in person and then they will get chosen. Check out the video below to see what I mean. I am merely basing this cheer team off the team SMOED in California. I am not using any names of any team members of coaches.

Now back to the story. I just wanted to clear up some of the confusion.

~End side note~

"Thanks. I also got my standing tuck down pat last year. That will make me even better addition." I cheered as we walked toward first block. I have always been a okay tumbler, not amazing. I worked for months on end to finally get my standing back tuck and it's paid off.
