How to save a life (Markney)

After the engagement of Carson and Witney broke off she was a mess. And not the hot kind. But the kind that made you have sympathy for her. She would drink daily. Nobody saw her  behavior patterns expect for Mark. He always wanted to hangout but she always ran off after the Monday shows. Mark had enough of it so on Tuesday after hers and Carlos's practice he took Witney and locked her in a room with him. "MARK WHAT THE CRAP?" Witney screamed. "You need to tell me what's going on and how I can help." She just shook her head and curled up in a ball. He sat by her side and he rubbed her back. "Wit I know you and Carson broke up but you have to stop letting him get to you. He isn't for you." That ticked Witney off and she stood up "MARK YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND." She yelled. Mark had never seen her like this and he hated it. She pushed him out of the way and unlocked the door. Mark realized he had failed. Witney didn't go to.bar tonight she just went home and started to think about everything. She realized one thing. She lost a friend somewhere in the bitterness. She cried harder realizing that she had lost Mark. The next day she interrupted team baega's practice and pulled Mark to the same room they had been in last night. "Are you here to yell at me?" Mark sassed. "Mark don't be sassy and listen. I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that." She got on her tipytoes and kissed him. He pulled away "Did I know how to save a life?" She held his hands "Well you saved mine" and there in that moment that lead to a road to forever of love. He saved her.
