“Get lost hoe! Out of my way!” I yelled as a girl tries to walk past through me. Ha! I always wanted to get first so walang haharang-harang. I’m too harsh isn’t it? Why? Simply because I’m Sapphire de Silva… a cheerleader, beautiful hot and sexy bitch you’ll never forget, oh and, boys bow down to me. Masyado bang mahangin?

Grabeh!”

I heard them whispers. I’m not really sure if it was a whisper, dinig na dinig ko kasi. But I don’t care, I don’t know them anyway, I don’t even know my classmate’s name for four years! Hahaha!

“Sapphire! Sapphire! Kahapon, sabi ni Ms. Kaylee di daw totoo na may sakit ka, tumakas ka sa clinic…why? Because of that, you will take the long quiz on the principal’s office and I need to see your parents at the guidance office….immediately.”

Ano ako? Elementary? Shit oh! Palibhasa kasi si Ms. Anito walang asawa kaya bitter. Hay naku! Like I have to deal with her?

“Why take the exams if we own the school? I can even get you fired…and I guess, you won’t like my idea.” I giggled at her para mas lalo pa siyang mainis.i waved my Gucci bag at her too. I heard the other students whispering and I don’t care. What? Totoo naman ang sinasabi ko ha? I’m rich and all that.

As I reached the parking area, the driver quickly opened the car’s door. Always ready siya, takot masesante.

“Good morning po ma’am! Sa’n po tayo?”

“As usual manong.” I answered and entered as he opened the door for me.

I know you’re wondering and probably confused. Nine pa ng umaga at Tuesday, again, as part of my routine, I skip classes and just go shopping whenever I like as long as I have my credit card. In 16 years of existence, hindi ko pa rin alam kung anong business namin since I’m not business minded, basta were rich….I also have a younger brother, siya si Miguel, kabaliktaran ko siya, matino yun at nerd, he always get dad’s praises, dad’s proud of him….mom too. I wish they were also to me….

I wiped a tear as it flows on my cheek and do a little retouch. Ang wrinkles…

“Ma’am nandito na po tayo.”

“oo manong, nakikita ko.” I snapped!

  >>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Three hours of shopping….not bad, marami naman akong nabili, umabot yata ng 90 thousands lahat or more….i smiled crazily lalo na ngayong nakauwi nako sa bahay, I want to try them all over again, take photos and put it in my blog.

“Sapphire”

Luminga ako sa kaliwa to see who’s calling.

“Mom?” nakarating na pala… Gosh! Eh di sana nagtino ako for the past days.

“Ang dami mong nabili ha…school projects ba lahat yan?” she asked as she raised her brow, tumayo si mommy na nakapamewang at tiningnan ang dala ko.

“Sort of….I went shopping…..pero nakatipid naman ako dahil sale mom.” I insist.

“Nakatipid pa tayo sa lagay na yan ha?”

“eh kasi nama---“

“Sapphire….you’re not wearing a school uniform? Scholar ka pala, I should have known. There were reports about you. Thanks to Ms. Anito who keep us in touch with your stinky behavior.”

Guess who? That’s my dad….kapag siya na yung nagagalit, I always shut up, I never have the urge to response. I looked like a dog begging for his master. I just stood there stupidly dropping all the bags that I shopped.

“I can explain dad. They don’t understand me, they don’t show me respect and- - -“

“Respect? Let’s talk about respect! You hang up when we called, you pay no attention to the teacher, and you bully your classmates and even children, now you want to be respected? You don’t deserve it at all.”

Ouch! That hurts. Am I that horrible? I hold back the tears that I kept; I don’t want him to know how weak I can be. Go on dad! I’m listening. It’s always like this, anything new? Sigh!

Oh! Here he comes, I’m proud to present to you, my brother, Miguel de Silva, my dad’s favorite child. Huh!

“Ba’t di ka tumulad sa kapatid mo? Matino! Matalino! Mabait at mapagkumbaba, ibang-iba sa’yo.  Isang taon ang tanda mo sa kanya pero kung mag-isip ka para ka pa ring 10 years old! Sapphire? What’s wrong with you?”

“Everything.”
