There's like a tiny spoiler for Frozen but I'm pretty sure most of us have already seen it so...yeah...Enjoy the chapter!
My calm and slow heart began to speed up as the blood in my veins raced around my body again. It's like my veins were a racing track and all of my blood cells are the 6-8 engine Formula 1 cars. Just driving and drifting. While my blood raced around my body, my legs were frozen stiff. Kinda like Ana around the end of Disneys Frozen movie.
That thing slowly turned its body so it faced me. It was haunting. Finally, I took a step back, and bolted with my tail between my legs. Maybe I should have just listened to James and stayed away from the woods...nope. Curse you Curiosity! Burying my face in my pillow, a muffled yell just came out of my throat. Mum and dad were out and I'm an only child so I'm always left to my own devices. It has it's ups and downs, but mostly ups, cause no one can walk in on me reading Creepypasta or watching anime.
Deciding that I was an idiot, I went into my little bathroom and took a cold shower. Like any normal person, I had all these weird thoughts go through my head in the shower. Examples include: "What is our purpose here? Why am I here? Why the fuck did I even try going into those woods?!" But seriously, when I saw that thing again, I had the same feeling I did when we were all there a year ago...
Realising my fingers were turning into prunes, I quickly turned the water off and stepped out of the shower. "Thank god the weather is warm today..." Drying myself off, I changed into my comfy clothes and finished my homework for the day.Mum and dad came home at around 8 so we all had dinner around 9... which was totally fine, not like I had to get up early or anything for school tomorrow...
Placing my plate into the sink, I just read a chapter or two of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows before brushing my teeth and going to bed. As soon as my head hit the pillow I went out like a candle on a cake.
Too bad I didn't notice something creepy in my window.Word count: 374
