Clara had asked to go back to earth for a week so now the Doctor was with her, on earth. Artie and Angie had been excited at seeing him and tried to get him to play blind mans bluff, again, but he had said no. So now they were all playing monopoly and the Doctor was getting beaten by all three of them with Clara winning, Angie second and Artie just above the Doctor's fourth place. After being beaten about twenty times the Doctor needed a walk.
Getting up and stretching, he spoke "I'll be back in a mo', my legs are just a bit stiff."
"Alright Chinny, just be back before you pick off another store owner." Clara laughed at the memory, he had been hauled here by a police man saying that the Doctor had almost blown up a shops boiler.
"You know I'm not doing that again. Besides, it would've blown up after then anyways, I just accelerated the process." He jutted his chin, not taking well to either jab. "My chin is a nice size."
"Yes, well, it was either that or my new nickname. I'm keeping it P.G. 13."
"What's his other nickname?" Angie asked taking a sudden interest in the conversation.
"Yeah, what?" Artie asked taking the cue from his sister.
Clara gave them the I'll-tell-you-later look and then turned to face the Doctor. "Just be safe, okay?"
"I will." He said and kissed her forehead before turning and walking out of the room.
The children waited a moment before beginning their questioning.
"Are you two dating?" Angie asked
"What's his other nickname?" Artie questioned
"Do you like him?" Angie
"Can we go on another adventure with you two?" Artie
"Is he why you didn't accept the emperors proposal?" Angie
"He said he had a pool in the TARDIS, is that true?" Artie
"Quiet down, I'll answer but it'll be one at a time, okay?" Clara jutted in before they could ask too much more.
"Alright, my questions first, then Artie's. Are you two dating?"
" I haven't a clue, it's all very confusing." Clara answered
"Do you like him?" Angie asked "And was he why you didn't accept the emperors proposal?"
" I think so, yes, I do like him. Also yes, but you and Artie were another reason. I quite like taking care of you two."
"Ok! Now mine." Artie began. "What's his other nickname?"
"Cavekisser."
"Why?"
"He kissed me in a cave on his home planet." Clara smiled. It was a nice memory.
"Looks like you have something to beat, Artie." Angie teased.
"No I don't! Girls are silly!" He countered with a lie.
"Whatever you say Artie."
He crossed his arms then went onto his next question. "Can we go on another adventure with you and the Doctor?"
"I don't know, you should ask him, after all, it is his TARDIS." She smiled, looks like Cybermen didn't scare them off.
"But it'll yours as well soon!" Artie whined but then stopped, next question. "Does he really have a pool?"
"He has that and more." Clara winked. "He has libraries, kitchens, bedrooms, pools, gardens, everything you could imagine and more."

The Doctor was having a fun time just walking around the town. He didn't go in any shops even though he really wanted to but instead he went to an ATM and sonic'd out some money. He wanted to get presents seeing as it was almost Christmas. First he went to a book shop in the mall and bought Summer Falls, Clara had recommended it, then bought more things. He got a small book about space for Artie seeing as he was always bombarded with questions about it when he and Artie spoke. Then he got a pair of converse for Angie since she was always complaining to Clara about not having red converse. For Clara, that was a hard one, he didn't want to get her a book, after all, there wouldn't be much reading time with him around and he'd probably keep it for himself, jewlery was definitely too cliche besides, who know what would happen to it during their trips, clothing, well, she could take whatever she wanted out of the TARDIS's store of clothing, flowers, no, they would just whither and die. What could he get her? Then it struck.

"Merry Christmas!" The Doctor said excitedly but pulling a tired Clara with him.
"You're too cheery, calm down and wait until I have some coffee." Clara whined.
"I have something better than coffee planned."
She rubbed her eyes. "Just let me have some coffee then you can act out your plan."
"Fine." He pouted. "Get your coffee."
"I can give you something real to pout about, Doctor." She warned before turning and getting a cup of coffee.
He rolled his eyes and sat with Artie and Angie. "The only way she could make me really sad is to leave."
"We know, cavekisser." Angie teased with a small Santa hat on.
"Hey! You're not supposed to know that name!" He faked embarrassment. "And I thought I would be nice and get you a present."
"Oo! What is it?" Angie asked excitedly, she did love presents, especially shoes.
"You'll have to wait but I'll give you a hint, it's red." He smiled.
"Is dad coming back for Christmas?" Artie asked hopefully
"No, but we're going to visit him at the hospital." He replied gently. "He's still recovering." Their dad had been ran into by a drunk driver who was now also in the hospital but in a coma where as their dad was being treated for a couple broken ribs, a twisted ankle and a concussion.
Clara came in just as Artie was about to complain. "Presents then?" She looked to Artie with a smile. "Don't worry about your dad. He'll be fine. Cross my hearts."
