"How were Artie and Angie?" The Doctor asked as he led her around new new new new new new new new new new London. It looked almost the same as 2013 London seeing as they had tried to keep the human vibe but there were floating cars, buses, even floating bikes, and everyone was very hospitable. Which wasn't weird if you thought of how in this year the U.S.A had been awarded best weaponry safety and least crime rates in the universe.
"Wonderful. Artie spouting whole paragraphs from the book you gave him and Angie won't let anyone near her new shoes." Clara answered. Angie liked those shoes a bit too much. "Did you work magic on those shoes?"
"Nope, I just know that red converses are cool." He smiled and his eyes wrinkled, his body was growing old just like Clara's but unlike her he would regenerate and live much longer.
"You're ridiculous." She shook her head and laughed.
"Am not!" He laughed with her but then saw a large shop which sold toys. "Can we go in that shop?"
Clara sighed then laughed. "Yes, we can go in that shop."

After a day of visiting shops of all types Clara and the Doctor settled on a nice hotel. Clara being the smart one had pointed out that since the TARDIS was a bit beat up (They had just flown through about five hundred paradox's, the Doctor thought it would be fun, silly man) that they should let her heal without them gallivanting inside and possibly interrupting anything crucial. She also just didn't want the TARDIS to look at her funny for a while but didn't tell that to the Doctor.
"I'll get us a room, stay here." The Doctor ordered then turned to go to the desk with a small smile.
Clara stayed put and a stranger came up to her to talk. "Hello miss." He tipped his hat to her.
"Hello." She replied easily. She could see the Doctor from her spot by the wall and if she screamed he would hear.
"If I may ask, what's your name?" The man asked putting his top hat back on his dirty blond hair but judging from his thin beard it wasn't his natural color.
"Clara. What's your name?" She answered. This guy was kind of attractive but she was with the Doctor and very happy that way.
"I'm Tom, Tom Rosekx." He answered with a smirk. "Can I buy you a drink?"
"No thanks Tom, I'm waiting for my boyfriend. He getting our room." She stood a bit straighter
"That man you came in with? I thought he was your father with the way he ordered you to stay here."
"Yes, that man is my boyfriend. He just doesn't want me roaming around, if I wanted I could walk somewhere else." She shrugged placing a hand on her hip. "I just don't, he trusts me too much for me to do that."
"Ah yes, you're much too pretty to be ordered around though. You should be the one in control." Tom flirted
"He doesn't order me around much. Only when where on a new planet and when he doesn't trust the people around us." She responded trying to be subtle in her way of saying back off and smiled in annoyance. "He doesn't much appreciate it when people we don't know try to hit on me."
"Clara, everything alright?" The Doctor asked slipping his arm around her shoulders and kissing her forehead. "Oh, who's this? You should introduce us."
"This is Tom Rosekx." She replied brightly putting her arm around the Doctors waist.
"Hello Tom, I'm the Doctor." He said happily but his eyes were much different than happy. "I'm sorry for not being able to chat but me and Clara have a room that we need to get our things to." He gestured with his free hand to the two luggage bags near them.
"No problem sir. I was just about to head off anyways." Tom said before bowing and leaving.
"I don't like him." The Doctor stated as he picked up the to bags. "Even if he does invent Fish finger and custard ice-cream."
"Jealous?" Clara asked with a raised brow as she followed him up the stairs to their room.
"I just don't like it when men I don't know try to talk to you when you're giving off leave-me-alone vibes." He answered with a shrug
"Leave-me-alone vibes?"
"Yeah, you used to get them when I asked about your mum." He answered simply. "You always put your hand on your hip and your give a annoyed smile."
"You notice that? You're certainly a Sherlock Holmes in disguise." She smiled.
"I'm not that good, though, I did meet Conan-Doyle once. Magnificent person if a tad bit close minded when it came to marriage. Didn't much like the thought of two men together." He put the bags down in front of a room and opened it with a card.
"So, Tom invents a new flavour of ice-cream?" Clara asked.
"Yes, many new flavours as well as a new toilet." He laughed. "The toilet never caught on though."

Their room was huge, much more then they'd need. The bath room was giant and had both a shower and tub in it separately. The tub had water jets and two faucets while the shower had four shower heads and a selection of any shampoo and conditioner. Both had teles with Clara thought was very unsafe. The toilet was just like any other but it was much comfier and the sinks, yes two sinks, were put in a large counter in front of a huge mirror.
The Room that they had walked into first was a combo of the kitchen and tele room. The kitchen's island separated them. The kitchen had two ovens one on top of the other a stove which was beside the ovens and a large fridge stocked with tons of food. The counter space was big and the sink was set between the stove and fridge. The tele room was basically a living room with it's baize couch and light colored coffee table. The television covered most of the wall except for where the shelving underneath it took. There were gaming stations, dvd players, games, movies, videos. Every accessory for a tv and gaming station.
Then there was the bedroom. A king sized bed was set in the middle of two nightstands, and the wall had glass doors (with blinds) leading out onto a balcony. There was a tv set across from the bed on a stand and a small desk near the glass door. The desk had a fancy looking computer on it and it's own small lamp.
After Clara finished looking around the light themed hotel 'room' she sat at the island and watched the Doctor. He was trying to play Wii2000 sports. And he looked like he would have an aneurysm is he lost.
"Calm down there Chinny." She said as he shouted in glee as he won his game.
"Oh! Sorry, didn't notice you, the game." He nodded towards the tv and sat on the couch with a plop. His breathing was laboured and his voice was lower than usual. "I was too focused on the game."
She shrugged then laughed. "I don't want you having an aneurysm."
"How do you like the room?" He asked laying down on the couch.
"I hope you're using the term room loosely, this is an apartment!" She smiled. It was an amazing room
"I always use my terms loosely when it comes to objects."
"It's amazing. The room is amazing."
He smiled and hopped up once his breath was back. "You see this switch right here?" He pointed to what looked like a light switch. "Look what happens when I flip it." He flipped it and what was the wall a second ago moved tow reveal a large, full wall window to the right of the couch.
"You do have taste in rooms Chinboy."
