Chapter 1

Dominick's POV

I walk into school and almost trip over my feet. 'Good one Dominick, you're already making yourself look dumb'. I had headphones in just to block out all dem ladies. Pfft that's a total lie. No I actually like listening to music a lot to get my mind off of things. Especially because I think I have a crush on my best friend. I walked down to my locker to grab my morning books.

Mason walked up to me and smiled,"Hey Dominick! I got a new football gloves yesterday!"

"Oh cool, hey have you seen Sawyer?", I asked.

"Nah, his bus didn't get here yet.", Mason replied.

Adrianna walked up to Mason and they start talking about Skateaway, which is a local skating rink.

"Friday was lit! Yo Alyssa, you should've came!", Adrianna yelled.

I slowly stopped listening to their conversation and continued getting my books. I walked to my class when a Senior booked me. All of my papers scattered all over the hallway, my books everywhere. Him and his friends walked away laughing. I was half way done picking up my books when Brianna, Sawyer's girlfriend helped me with the rest.

"Uh uhm, thanks.", I said awkwardly.

"No problem. Well you know you are my boyfriend's best friend.", She said while brushing off her pants.

I walked to my first class which is science. I basically slammed my books down because the teacher's a complete bitch and always putting stress on me. I'm pretty sure a got maybe a 72 on my test and she yelled at me. She only yells at me too, even though I get pretty good grades. She just hates me, I guess. A few of my friends are in my class. There's Garett, Alyssa, Brittany, and Reese in this class with me. Other than Sawyer, they're pretty much my best friends. When I was younger I used to be loud and obnoxious and crazy and tried to be funny all the time until last year, 8th grade. I got bullied by, girls. Yes I know girls. They found out I was gay which wasn't supposed to happen. They bullied me a lot but the peRSON I LOVE HELPED ME THE WHOLE TIME AND ITS MAKING ME MAD THAT HE STILL CAN'T FIGURE OUT THAT I LIKe him. That's what made me so quite now. I caught myself staring at this guy and quickly played it off that I was looking at the girl in front of me. Oh shit that's Reese. God I'm so awkward.

"Alright you miserable maggots, today you'll be working in partners. I'm letting you pick your partners this time.", Mrs. Bitch said.

Welp looks like Garett has a partner and Reese and Alyssa are together. I looked all around the room and Brittany had her earbuds in, and on her phone. I walked up to her and took out one of her earbuds. She gave me the worst death stare and put it back in. You may think woah what a bitch but when she's listening to music she'll block out anything. Even teachers. I sat down at the desk next to her and waited patently until she took them out.

"Alright so what do we have to do?", Brittany asked.

"We gotta work on a science worksheet thing.", I relied.

"Okay, gotcha. You okay? There's a scratch on your face.", She asked, pulling out her phone and swiping up to the camera to give me a mirror.

"Oh that's probably from this morning. I got booked.", I said, giving her phone back.

"Oh jeez uh lets actually get this done so I can get my grade up.", Brittany said.

After science class I have, English, then Art, then gym, then lunch. My favorite.

[After all his classes]

Lunch is my favorite period or whatever you wanna call it. AlL oF mY fRiEnDs ArE iN mY lUnCh.

"Dominickkkk", Nico called.

"The fuck you want?", I laughed.

He threw a spork at me. I'm practically an 'animal' when it comes to lunch. I pretty much don't even care what other people think in here. It's great because there's no supervisors in the lunch room except the chefs. I threw a plastic knife at him and he swung to the left and tripped over a bench and I straight up laughed and fell to the ground.
