RECAP
"Cleopatra Nut Cian (Psy-an)," she says using my full name. I frown at my mothers choice. Why did she have to be so thrilled with my father and his religion?!?
"Yes dear?" I say, urging her on after her long pause as if debating of she was going to tell me. She looked up to Shane, and he nodded his head and then pulled it down for her to whisper something into. I stand there trying not to yell, 'just tell me already!' at her but it is getting hard and I'm becoming impatient.
Alyssa takes a huge, deep breathe and spurts out, "I'mQueenMeredithsdaughter."
I stood there quietly. Half because I don't know what she said and half because I didn't know she could speak that fast.
"Could you possibly say that again dear?"I say.
Prince Shane put a hand on her arm. He is going to be the one.
"She is Queen Meredith's daughter. You must NOT tell anyone, including my mother and father."
"Understood. And that's why they never found her body after the -" the princes look shut me up quite fast. Obviously, this was not the time.

Alyssa's POV
Cleo marches out of the room in her neon pink pumps, black hair flapping, fuchsia hi-lo skirt flowing behind her.
I turn to only see Shane wiping a hand down his face with a look of relief written all over.
"Your keeping something from me, aren't you?" Crossing my arms with a scowl on my face.
"N-no of course not!" He says stuttering, while scratching and itching his arms.
I give him a pointed look as if to say,
'Right! And I'm a chicken who looks like a penguin yet sounds like a tiger.'
"Ok, ok. Ya I know som-"
"You know something about my parents and MY past and didn't tell me? I trusted you Shane! I told you earlier that I have trust issues! I trusted you and have built on to that trust from day one until now!!!!" I say smacking his chest creating zero affect on him, tears pouring down my cheeks ruining my makeup in the process.
I run. Run to my secret hiding place to cry. I am strong. I won't show these people weakness.
______
I run until I come to the once most amazing place out of the whole palace. It's a little, white stone surrounded pond with a little granite bench with pillars as the legs and vines etched into the stone. This place is a thirty minute walk from the Queens' rose garden and is surrounded by weeping willows so close together they create a tent yet lets sunlight trickle in.
I found this place when planning my escape route, just incase.
I sit on the bench carefully, like it was carved many years ago by our ancestors.
The water slowly slides over my feet like a glove until up to my ankle is in the water as I dip them into the water, soothing them from all the high heels. My ones from today, a petal pink coloured 3 inch heels were ditched on the way here.
CRACK!!!
I whip my head back and hear another stick from a fallen tree snap. I look left and right. Nothing. I curse under my breathe for having to wear a dress then start to climb.
By the time I'm high enough and in a spot to see in all angles, the person was there. I hold my breathe.
It's him.
