"Beep beep beep," yelled the stupid alarm clock that had to wake me up. I open my eyes and I see a room full of darkness and numbers on my alarm clock that read 6:00am. I hit the snooze button and rolled back over, pulling the covers over my head. I was sound asleep until the alarm clock woke me up again. I shut it off and turn on my light. I look at the post- it note on my nightstand and it reads "Nick is coming today!" Then the thought hits my head and I ran to get ready. I go take a warm shower and then I go back in my room to finish getting ready. I put on a bright rainbow dress, a flower crown, and my black converse. I grab my backpack and I am about to go down stairs but I stop for a moment. I stare at my Nickbow wall and say
"Today is going to be an amazing day." As I left my room to go down stairs I smiled.
"Good morning sweetie, I made you some waffles," she said happily. She was getting ready for work.
"Hi mom," I said weakly, "Thanks for making me breakfast today. I can't wait until I meet Nick today. I worked so hard planning this assembly so I hope everyone likes it." My mom smiles and then says
"Everyone will like it, plus Nick will be so proud of you for making this happen. I have to go to work now but have an amazing day and tell Nick I said hi."
"Okay I will, bye!" I sat down and got myself four waffles. Then I pulled out my schedule for the assembly. I would be missing the whole school day because not only I had to set up I also had to run the assembly four time; one for each grade level. Then after all of it is done I have to clean up. Then if there is anymore time left I get to leave early. It looked at the clock on the kitchen wall and I had to leave for the bus. I finished eating the waffles and I grabbed my backpack and rushed out the door.
