I held my breath waiting to feel the cold hard ground knock the breath out of me but instead I was greeted by Raphael's cool embrace. He looked at me, his face was emotionless, a blank slate. He set me down on the ground

"Come on, run." He said sternly. He grabbed my hand and began to run dragging me with him. Behind me I looked and the little filthy white house with the crooked front porch and black shutters that I had lived for almost my whole life. I saw Hanson walk out onto the porch screaming at me.

"YOU DAMN WITCH! BETTER NOT SEE YOUR ASS 'ROUND HERE AGAIN YOU FILTHY BITCH! DON'T WANT THE WIFE OF SATAN IN MY DAMN HOME!" I frowned.

The wife of Satan? Never. He's just drunk, but this time I won't come back. I'm sorry Lorraine, I thought. I hated what I was wearing. Black jeans, and tight white tank top the clung to all of my curves, a red plaid over shirt and sneakers. The sneakers and over shirt were fine but it was the tight top and pants that clung to me. It made it akward and uncomfortable to run in.

"Where are we going?" I asked Raphael.

"Somewhere safe. I know someone who may be able to help us." He said looking back at me.

He doesn't mean... someone like me does he? Another seer? I thought. That's what I like to call myself. A seer. I've never met another seer. I thought I was the only one. Raphael pulled my hand to make me run faster. I saw the flash of a car drive by. We ran and ran narrowly dodging and avoiding people walking down the path and taking sharp turns around trees and corner. I felt a sharp pain in my legs. I bad to stop before I fell

"I need to stop!" I said breathlessly. Raphael looked back at me. His face didn't have a single bead of sweat, he wasn't breathless or tired. All the perks of being a ghost. He stopped in his tracks.

"We may rest now." I sat down where I was. I felt soft moss underneath me, I looked at my surroundings. There were old large tall trees filled with green leaves everywhere, we were in a small clearing. There was a little River about six feet to my left. It was a beautiful place. I'd love to live here, in a nice cozy cabin with Raphael and i happily married with our first daughter soon to be born. Raphael came and sat next to me. He looked at me with his large brown eyes.

Kiss me already. Please. I want it so badly, I pleaded silently hoping he would hear me. He leaned in close to me, I could feel his cold breath on me.

Yes, yes. This is where you kiss me, I thought. His face came closer to mine, I could almost feel his soft lips on mine when he tilted his head upward and kissed my forehead instead.

Ass hole, was the first thing that came to my mind. How rude he was by playing on my emotions like that.

"You are burning up, you're cheeks are bright red, are you alright?" He asked, general concern written clearly across his face. I looked at him, stood up and answered his question flatly.

"I'm fine. Let's just find the person you said could help us already." I could tell he was upset by my answer, his eyes filled with hurt, all he was expressing concern for me and i returned it witg coldness. I should be grateful that he even cares. I looked at him my anger disappeared and I said to him softly.

"I am fine, thank you for asking." A small smile papered on his face. He had a handsome smile, I found it a shame that he didn't show it often.

"Come now, the person I'm taking you to has a small cabin not far from here." He said standing up. He had to be at least 6 foot, he towered over me making me feel smaller than I actually was. I was only 5 foot 5 so him being so tall made me feel like a little dwarf, like the ones from snow white.
