I wake up to my alarm clock beeping. I hit it and it stops beeping. I get up and feel that my headache is gone and I'm good to go to school, since I missed yesterday. I've been hearing rumours that my old friend Paige is back but I don't want to believe it till I see it, but tbh I can't help but keep my hopes up that she's actually back. I put on a large gray shirt and a pair of black leggings with a pair of red converse. I put my hair into a french braid, grab my bag and start walking to school. I walk into bell and see Eleanor, who has the locker right beside mine, and a blonde that was in the always empty locker by Eleanor. "Hey ellie!!" I say running up to hug her. "Who is that?" I mumble to ellie. "It's Paige!" "What?!?" I run the 2 meters over to her and hug her "your backkkk!!!" I squeel still hugging her. "Your really back, I always get sick at the worst times!!" "Yep I'm back" she says. I compare my schedule to hers, "yay we have gym and drama together" i say. "Well unless I want to be late I should probably get to class , but I'll see you in drama." she says hugging me.
Me and ellie walk to our class together since our classes are next door to each other. I walk into the first open door and ellie walks into the second open door. She says see you at lunch and then we walk into our very boring first period.
I eat lunch with Paige and Eleanor and we catch up on everything we missed with eathothers life's.
The last period bell rings telling us it's time to go home. Me, Eleanor, Paige, Anika, and brianne, all walk to our houses. We all say good bye to each other and I walk into my house. I say hi to my sister and tell her I'm home and then I go up to my room, turn on infinity on my iPad and start doing my homework when I get a text from Paige, she started a group chat with me anika Eleanor and brianne. She wrote "turn on chanel 5 now, breaking news from Alaska." I run down stairs and turn on the TV to chanel 5. The news lady comes on and says "Alaska police found teen boy identified as seth b.-" a picture of seth pops up on the screen- " in the snow with blood rushing out of the left side of his stomach where police investigators say that this unfortunate teen boy was attacked by a polar bear. He was transferred the nearest hospital, doctors say he's in critical condition but he is going to make it."
I check my iPad and see messages from everyone in the group message, all are along the lines of 'oh my god' 'I can't believe this happened' I quickly type "park 10 minutes" and I grab my back pack and put my iPad in it and a few other things and I start walking to the park.

But to make it even better of course I have to make seth get attacked by a polar bear because...why not?? I know this chapter was kinda boring but it's leading up to something big.
