BEAUTY

She is beautiful.

She may not speak
So eloquently,
As if her tongue were made of glass,
And one ill thought could shatter it.

She may not be extremely thin,
Bones stabbing out of skin.

Her hair may not flow
Like a river of smooth silk.

Her skin may not be alabaster,
Smooth and creamy as milk.

She may be imperfect,
But so is everyone
And for her flaws,

She is beautiful.
