Javey fanfic

Chapter 1

I rolled around in my bunk, unable to sleep. All I can hear is the sound of my band mates sleeping. All of a sudden I heard a keyboard clicking, looking in the direction the noise was coming from. It was my best friend. Davey fucking Havok. I sat up slowly, rubbing my eyes.

"Davey what are you doing?"

He simply turned at me with his usual smile. Oh that smile is just going to kill me one day. Wait..: STOP JADE he is your friend what the fuck?! "I couldn't sleep so I'm working on some songs. What about you?"

"I couldn't sleep over Hunter's snoring. Can I see the songs? You know we both work on it better together."

"Sure." He moved over a bit to make room for me on his bunk, smiling as he adjusted his lip ring.

I slowly slid out of my bunk, underneath Hunter's, walking over to Davey's, sitting next to him and shielding my eyes from the bright screen. "Could you turn the brightness down a bit? I'm going blind here."

As he did so, I looked at my nails. They were all chipped and needed to be repainted. I made a mental note so I remembered that I need more pink nail polish for my left pinky. Davey turned the dimmed screen towards me as I skimmed through the lyrics he was writing, brushing the bleached part of my hair behind my ears.

"This is good but I would change this part." I pointed to a certain part of the song.

"To what?"

"Maybe change it to 'Here with me'?"

He nodded, changing it everywhere he typed it, closing his eyes and humming softly, raven hair falling into his face. I started to shiver a bit. Damn this bus is cold. I got up, trying to find a clean hoodie and to choose one of my many scarves, sitting back down.

We continued to write until we just started talking. God his lips......... I slapped my face.

Davey laughed softly. "The hell was that for?"

Nobody can know. "Nothing Dave. Just some stupid thought." I smiled softly and he nodded.

I bit my lip. "What time is it?"

Davey looked at a clock and yawned. "2 a,m." He had placed his laptop on the floor and we were laying down on his bunk, just talking (in a hetero way).

His eyes started to droop a bit and without either of us realizing it, he moved closer to me, cuddling me as his breaths started to get quieter and deeper. A sign he fell asleep. I kissed his forehead light enough so he wouldn't feel anything, whispering goodnight as I slowly faded into sleep as well, an arm wrapped around my best friend.

The next morning I woke up to find everyone else still asleep. I hadn't opened my eyes yet so all I could feel was a weight on my body, opening one eye. It was Davey. He was right on fucking top of me.  Davey Havok is an adorable little  person when he's sleeping. A lot less scary if you don't know him. I smiled softly and watched him sleep until he woke up.

He stretched and simply yawned

"Morning Jade.."

"Morning Davey"

He looked around sleepily before jumping, well sort of, freezing."Am I on top of you?"

I nodded. "Shit... Sorry I uhm." He stayed on top of me awkwardly, blushing. "Sorry Jade."

I giggled. "It's fine Davey! Really! It was cute till you woke up." Oh fuck I did not just say that out loud. I blushed madly but he just smiled softly.

"Thanks I guess"

"No problem." I smiled back.

We just lay there in a nice kind of silence until Hunter started to wake up too. He turned over, looking at us.

"Jesus get a room you two." He grumbled before going back to sleep. Davey muttered something that I couldn't hear while blushing.

"Hmm?"

"Oh nothing don't worry! Its just that Hunter is a bit of an idiot thats all" he giggled softly.

I just grinned. Davey tends to have this aura that even though some people think he's scary, he can make them smile anyways. Thats one thing I love about him. He's just so enthusiastic and funny. Oh who am I going to kid? I am in love with my best friend. Davey fucking Havok.
