MADDIE'S POV
"So..."I say trying to break the silence between us.
"I guess this is goodbye?"He says looking down
"I guess so"
"But Not forever"
"Yeah"I say as I start tearing up.Brayden hugs me.

"Don't worry Maddie"
I look up at him,my cheeks were probably wet with tears.
"C'mon Maddie.We knew this would happen eventually."
"Y-yeah..."
"Maddie,we can still talk to each other-"
"It won't be the same,Both of us will be busy with college,work,homework,hanging out with other friends.We would never have time"
"Did you really have to work for your dad?"I ask
"Look Maddie I-I already told you,My dad said it would be a great opportunity.It was obvious that he wanted me to do this,he wants me to follow in his footsteps."
"You don't have to if you don't want to,it's your life.I say almost mumbling it.
"I can't let him down"

He looks down and sighs.I look at my watch,I have five more minutes till I leave.I wrap my arms around him and hug him.He wraps his arms around me and hugs me back,almost squeezing me.
"Best friends...right?"
"Best friends forever"
I say back.Smiling and looking up at him.I hear the car horn honking.I let go of the hug.
"Bye Cow"
"Bye Juice"
I give him one final hug and go.

*Time Skip*

I board the plane and find my seat.I wait till the stewardesses are done explaining everything and put on my headphones.The flight takes off.

I look out the window.Leaving the city I grew up in.Where I met all my friends and Brayden.All the memories in that city.But I'll have some new memories in college.
I slowly drift off to sleep.

"You may now unbuckle your seatbelts and carefully take out your luggage from the overhead bins.Thank you for flying Air
Canada"

Getting out of the plane as quickly as you possibly can in those tight isle spaces and with that many people(it's so cramped in there!)I walk out into the waiting area,I get a taxi.(Because it's always ubers)I put in my earphones and listen to my music.

I finally reach the college after an hour and a half long drive.I look up at the large bricked building as the driver took me to the front of it.

The school was made of bricks and there was a large fountain in the front on a large grassy area surrounded by trees and bushes and students either reading,talking or doing something else

I make my way into the building and into my dorm room.I found out I didn't have a dorm room mate.Which is lucky for me cause it meant I Got whole room to myself.I sigh.This'll be fun

1 month later

Ugh.Im so lonely.So far college is okay.I've made 3 friends,not really best friends but just friends.I've only really had 1 best friend.
And that was Brayden.He hasn't talked to me in a month.

I sigh,I guess he's just too busy.I miss him so much.

Here I am.Lonely.
On my birthday.
I check my phone.Not even a simple "happy birthday"text.Nobody.I sigh and walk over to the fridge.

Suddenly I get a Skype call from Brayden.
"Heya Juice,Just Called to wish ya a happy birthday!"
"Awe thanks Brayden I-"
"Oh,gotta go.I have to get back to work,I'm doing something important right now and I'm about to go see someone special"
He ended the Skype call.I sigh,at least he actually wished me a happy birthday.

I look inside only to be disappointed.I barley have any good food.I guess I'll go to sleep then

Knock knock knock

Probably one of my friends here.I walk over to the door and open it up.I look up into his brown eyes.

Brayden.
"Hey Juice!Happy Birthday!"
I give him a hug squeezing him.
"Brayden!I missed you so much"
He hugs me back lifting my feet off the ground a few centimetres.
"Hey,I missed you too"
"Wh-how-Why are you her-He leans and gives me a kiss lasting a good 10 seconds,not that I was complaining this was the best thing that's happened to me today.
"I'm sorry,like I said I missed you Maddie and I uh-"He pauses and awkwardly laughs
"You said you had to go,and you were doing something important and meeting someone special"I say a bit confused
"Well yeah I am.Im doing it right now."

"This is important and you are the special person.I had a whole bunch of stuff to do but I left just to see you.You're more important."
I hug him and give him a kiss on the cheek.
"I love you Maddie"
"I love you too Brayden"

I didn't know what Dul and rushers ship name was but I guessing it is "Dusher"?If you know their ship name comment it down and Sorry if my writing is kinda bad I was having trouble thinking of ideas,maybe you guys can suggest a scene or some sort of topic to write the one shots about
