Stormfire opened her eyes just as she felt a jolt in, well wherever she was. It was a strange place. Strange silver sticks surrounded her and the hard grey ground was cold. But she felt she was moving somehow. With a jolt she realised she was in the strangest place she had ever known. Before she could even look around a black and white face appeared p, two yellow ears stared at her.

"Hello!" The strange cat meowed. "Enjoying your cage? Sorry your in there,"

Stormfire tried to stand up but fell over. She felt heavier and her legs felt weak.

"Don't try to walk," the strange cat told her. "It's just a side effect. My name is Oscar,"

Stormfire blinked at him.
Side effect?

Oscar tilted his head. "Can't you talk?"

Stormfire bristled growling at him. Yowling with rage and fear she threw herself at the cage wall.

"Hey!" Oscar cried his eyes huge. "What are you doing?"

"Let me out!" Stormfire screeched.

Oscar drew a paw over one ear. "Well you won't get out like that,"

Stormfire narrowed her eyes at him. "How do I get out then?"

Oscar purred. "You can't get out now silly! Not why'll we are in a Twoleg monster!"

Horror and terror filled Stormfire. Screeching with fear she clawed the cage desperately trying to get out.

Oscar stared at her. "It's not scary you know. What's up with you?"

Stormfire faced him. "I'm trapped in this cage, I have no idea where my friends are or where I am, I don't have any answers and I'm in a Twoleg Monster. What do you expect?"

"Sorry," Oscar meowed. "But I can tell you things. Do you know you were knocked out for like three days? The Twolegs wanted to give you an operation they give lots of she-cats,"

"Operation?" Stormfire asked quizzically.

"Operation," Oscar repeated. "It would stop you from having kits,"

Stormfire's blood went cold.

"But they couldn't because you are already having kits," Oscar told him. "They looked happy for you,'

Stormfire blinked at him his words not sinking in. "What?"

Oscar looked at her apologetically. "You didn't know? I'm sorry!"

Stormfire felt suddenly cold. "Did they do this operation on my friends?"

"Nope," Oscar answered. "They wanted to but you were having kits so they couldn't," Oscar paused. "Well it was more like wouldn't,"

I'm having kits?
Stormfire to felt too frightened to be happy.

"Where are my friends?" She asked.

"In the other monsters," Oscar replied yawning.

"Where are you taking us?" Stormfire asked.

"To your new homes," Oscar answered. "With new Housefolk,"

"No!" Stormfire shrieked. "I am not a kittypet!"
