He gripped his bed sheets tightly as his dreams, perhaps nightmares, plagued him again.

Four silhouettes, standing in the light of the full moon.

"Please, it doesn't have to be this way."

Voices disturbing the eerie silence.

"I wish I could've watched them grow up together, but Fate has a funny way of working sometimes."

"Run away with us."

One figure taking a step towards the other.

"No."

Another voice joining the still air.

"It has been our duty since the beginning of time and our legacy won't stop here. I beg you... for their sake, live. Give them a chance to fly... as freely as birds."

Silence.

The whisper of farewell in the air.

"Take care of them."
