Chapter 8 - Don't Leave Me Alone

(Elaf's POV)
I was reading a book on the bed when Jungkook-oppa entered "What took you so long?" I said placing the book on the table beside the bed, he shook his head in response and went to the bathroom smiling 'Why is his smile that big? Is he hiding something from me? Why isn't he talking but responding with actions?' These questions were running in my head because of his actions.

About 15 minutes later he came out of the bathroom (still smiling, which bugged me a lot) wearing his pajamas, and I still kept looking at him trying to know what is he thinking about, but with no avail.

He then looked at me, and was about to talk when his phone started to ring, he took it, looked at the screen then at me after that he left the room.

'Was it that private that he would leave the room? Is he by any chance CHEATING---no it can't be, he would never do that' I thought but I couldn't help but feel worried and uncomfortable so I started roaming in the room.

(Jungkook's POV)
I left the room and picked up

Jungkook
Ne, eomma?

Jungkook's Mother
I heard you're dating Jung Elaf

Jungkook
............Yes, I am

Jungkook's Mother
Breakup with her THIS instant!

Jungkook
Why do you care? It's not like you cared before

Jungkook's Mother
You know that her mother had an affair with your father

Jungkook
So, what does that have to do with me?

Jungkook's Mother
If you don't breakup with her, I'll no longer consider you as my son

Jungkook
It's not like you treated me like your son before

Jungkook's Mother
JEON JUNGKOOK!!!

I hung up before she could say another word and went to the kitchen to get myself a cup of water then headed back to the room to be greeted by Elaf's questions and as much as I wanted to answer them all I had no energy to, so I just went to sleep hugging Elaf so tight afraid that she might vanish any minute from my hand because I know that my mom would do anything to break us up even if she had to kill her to get her away from me, and I wasn't going to let that happen.

*The next morning*

(Norhan's POV)
We were all leaving to buy ourselves clothes for the performance that is held in two days, we worked really hard on it and we were so ready, me and Elaf screamed in excitement and Myungsoo-oppa was over excited (he loves to go shopping) Yoseob-oppa and Ruby were blank (as usual) and Jungkook-oppa had worry and fear in his eyes as he was holding Elaf's hand so tight making sure she's okay and she's close to him, what has gone onto him?

Yoseob-oppa was driving the van his father owns for family trips, we all were having fun singing, telling jokes (even Ruby and Yoseob-oppa can you believe that) but Jungkook-oppa didn't, he was observing everything around him eyeing and looking for something still holding Elaf's hand tight, Elaf was calling Jungkook-oppa but didn't seem to hear until she waved her hand in front of his face, he snapped out of it.

"Oppa, Is something wrong?" She asked her voice full of worry
He smiled at her and answered "No it's nothing" and then kissed her forehead then caressed her cheeks like she's the most precious thing on Earth, that he has to be so gentle and careful with her or she would break and eventually vanish.

All of us were looking at them as we see pure love within both of them which fascinates me that actually exist in this world full of hatred and pain.

(Unknown POV)
"Yes he's going to the mall with TEZERO and three other girls including Jung Elaf" I told Jungkook's mother on the phone then hung up after she told me to follow them and update her.

"I'm going to make you leave her for good and I know exactly how to do that" I said smirking an evil smirk then followed them.

(Jungkook's POV)
We all returned back home but we forgot to buy the groceries, Yoseob-hyung and Myungsoo-hyung were waiting for me but I didn't want to leave Elaf at home without me and I also can't take her outside cuz it's already 9:00 pm so I called all three of them.

"Look girls do NOT let Elaf get out of the house, if anyone knocks the door and asks for her deny that you know her and call her by any other name other than her name and keep your phones beside you do NOT switch of your phones and call us whenever anything happens, got it?"

I said then kissed Elaf's forehead and left full of worry and anxiety that doesn't seem to ease away, Yoseob-hyung and Myungsoo-hyung kept telling me that nothing will happen and that it's just me who's imagining things, but I really have a horrible feeling about this that when we were returning back home I told them to hurry and we all ran towards the apartment.

When we entered the apartment and everything was destroyed Norhan and Ruby were laying on the floor hurt, Myungsoo-hyung and Yoseob-hyung rushed to them.

I searched the whole entire house for Elaf but didn't find her, I started to cry at the thought of what might happen to her, I called several times running out of the apartment towards the street and I kept dialing it until a familiar voice picked up

ELAF?!!!

Unknown
Well, well. Isn't that Jungkook?

Jungkook
WHO ARE YOU?!!! WHERE IS ELAF?!!!!

Why should I tell you? It's not like you'll breakup with her if I tell you

Jungkook
I will just tell me where is she

I'll send you the address

She hung up at that then I received a message, the address was written on it.

When I reached I immediately opened the door and saw Elaf crying at the corner of the room, I ran towards her and cupped her cheeks, as soon as she saw me she hugged me and cried even louder, I hugged her tighter and caressed her hair

"It's okay, I'm here now. I'll never leave you. Shh......It's okay, you're safe now. I'll never make you leave my sight anymore I promise" I said caressing her hair until she slept, I carried her bride style carefully to not wake her up, then I saw her...

Kim Minjin...

My ex-girlfriend...

"You said that you'll breakup with her" She said glaring at both of us

"Just give me three months" I answered coldly

"If you don't breakup with her in three months, I'll do worst things to her" She said in response

"I love you and your mother wants us to get married. So we better get married and nothing will happen to your little princess" And with that she left
