Part 2 - Chapter 3: The Phone Call

(Myungsoo's POV)

"I'm worried about Yoseob-hyung" I told Norhan through the phone...... Yoseob-hyung didn't sleep for the past two weeks since the day Ruby stopped talking to him through the phone and the only thing that he kept saying is that he has a very bad feeling about this...... and of course I told Norhan about it

"What would happen? She maybe reckless sometimes—" Norhan said but I cut her off

"Sometimes?" I asked sarcastically

"Ok, maybe all the time but still...... What could possibly happen" She said and I just sighed heavily then she added "Myungie-oppa don't be too worried it'll just hurt your precious head" I could feel make a completely adorable pout making my heart NOT skip a beat but BEATS...... A LOT OF BEATS

"You never fail to make me smile, huh" I said smiling and I heard her giggle on the other line

We talked for another hour then I told her to go to bed so that she can wake up early for tomorrow...... I know you're thinking now that it's to pick up Ruby and Mark from their house and you're HALF right...... Norhan and Jackson reserved a WHOLE restaurant for Ruby's "Welcome Back" Party but we told Yoseob-hyung that we're having a normal hangout because we planned it as a surprise for him...... Elaf won't be able to go because she's preparing for the finals and Jungkook has a performance in week and he has to practice so he also won't be able to come to the party...... And as I heard from Norhan, Jackson invited Ruby's favorite male group (I still don't know who) and other more (I honestly NEVER knew that Jackson can be THAT nice)

Before I went to sleep I went to check on Jungkook and he was sleeping soundly then went to check on Yoseob-hyung and as I thought he was still awake holding his phone with one of his hands while standing in front of the window biting his lower lip

"Hyung..." I called him with a low voice making him look towards the door and all he did was smile...... I could see the dark circles around his eyes, his skin paler than it usually is making me more worried

"Come in" he said with a voice close to a whisper, I came in and couldn't help but ask him...

"Hyung is something wrong?" he sighed heavily and laid on the bed

"I can't help but have this weird feeling... that something is wrong... that something bad happened to Ruby..." he said with worry filling his voice

"Why do you feel that way?" I asked laying beside him

"Whenever I asked Mark-hyung about her, he would hesitate and stutter and sometimes start laughing awkwardly...... and whenever this happen I couldn't help but feel uneasy... and once I asked him if I could talk to her but he said that she wasn't home... and the way he said it made me scared... so I started suspecting something" he said and when I looked at him he looked paler than before which scared me

"But what could happen? She might be reckless but not dumb and maybe Mark meant by what he said that she's at her friend's house or in the library" I said sitting back up trying to comfort him

"You're right. I shouldn't think too much about it" he said and I could see a small smile forming on his face

"Try to sleep hyung... If Ruby knew that you rarely sleep what do you think should would say" I said heading towards the door, after saying that he laughed

"You're right" he said still laughing, I smiled at him then left to my room to get to bed

(Yoseob's POV)

I couldn't sleep even after an hour of trying so I just stopped trying and headed towards the window again and saw a plane heading towards the airport and I just wished it was Ruby's flight...... I sighed, took my phone and went downstairs towards the kitchen to get myself something to drink. While I was heading towards my room my phone started vibrating indicating that I was having a phone call and was MARK'S KOREAN NUMBER!!!!!!!! I immediately answered

"Hello" I said closing my room's door

"Yoseob..." that voice it can't be...

"Victoria?" I said unsure

"Aww... so sweet you still remember my voice... how's Ruby?" she said making me feel as uneasy as ever

"Why are you calling from Mark's phone?" I said worried

"I was in America with Ruby" she said and I felt scared as thoughts started to appear in my mind

"Why?"

"Too bad Ruby CAN'T walk anymore...... She doesn't have a phone too...... How would you know if she's ok?" she said the last part dramatically

"What do you mean Ruby can't walk anymore?!!" I half yelling at the nonsense she was saying

"Wops...Was it a secret?... Oh... wait... It's not anymore" She said laughing

"WHAT HAPPEN TO RUBY?!!!" this time I yelled, and I heard the door of my room burst open

"What's wrong?" I heard Myungsoo and Jungkook say in unison

"SONG FUCKING VICTORIA AWNSER ME!!!" I said as I couldn't hold my patience anymore but all I heard was the peeping of the phone as she hung it up

"SHIT!!!" I cursed angry and tried to call again but...... the phone was shut down.........
