Dedicated to _sheepeh_. Thank you for letting me use your name and awesome personality for this fanfiction. Thanks for being a fabulous friend, and letting others steal your erasers. Finally, you always listen to my rants, no matter how stupid and long. Thanks, Japan._

*Slight language in this chapter

"We are here." Percy said once they had reached Long Island Sound near the beach, dismounting Blackjack.

"When can we ask questions? I'm dying here!" Kristie asked, fanning her face.

"Soon, soon. Once I get you to Chiron, he can answer all your questions." Percy answered, chuckling lightly. Suddenly, a silhouette appeared on the top of the hill, pausing for a moment before running down. It was a girl, with light brown hair and brown eyes. She stared menacingly at the two girls before turning to Percy.

"Are they new, Prissy?" She coldly asked. Percy held up a hand and replied, "Clarisse, do not call me prissy, and yes, they are the demigods I was asked to collect. Can you take them to the Big House? I have work to do."

"Whatever, Prissy. Come on you two. In case you haven't noticed, we haven't got all day." Clarisse said, before running back up the hill, not sparing a glance to see if Kristie and Kenna were following. "Geez, what crawled up her ass and died?" Kristie muttered, before dragging Kenna behind her.

~At the dam Big House~

"Chiron, new blood's turned up." Clarisse called, striding into a-well- big house. Kristie and Kenna walked forward, the sight greeting them was of an old man in a wheelchair and a sullen-looking man, both of them playing cards. "Are you two the new people they sent to bother me for the rest of your pitiful lives?" The sullen man asked without looking at them.

"Um, are you the wine dude? Ummm...what was his name...Oww!" Kristie had questioned, before receiving a jab in the ribs from Kenna. "The wine dude? Seriously? Does anyone ever call me anything other than 'the wine dude'? I swear on the Styx, if anyone calls me the-what do you call it these days?-freaking wine dude again..." He grumbled, but was fortunately cut off by Kenna saying," My deepest apologies sir. My friend here has nearly no governing self respect. You are Dionysus, right? I am Kenna Zhang, and she is Kristie Seraphina Pryor. We are honoured to meet your acquaintance." She bowed ever so slightly, glaring at Kristie out of the corner of her eye to comply.

"Yeah yeah, whateva." Dionysus scowled deeply before turning back to his cards. "Now get out of my sight, Crissie and Sienna."

"That said, I am Chiron, the activities director of this camp. I hope you have arrived with no interruptions? Yes, I can see that. Clarisse," he turned to the scowling teenager in the corner," please show them the orientation video, then ask Leo to show them around."

"'Kay." "Wait wait wait. The Chiron? The trainer of heroes? Must be tough. I can barely understand how hard it must be to see them all you-know-what-I-mean-umm-yeah-I-mean-d-d-die..." Kristie surprisingly said, stammering on the last word. Chiron looked surprised, but smiled kindly in her direction, millennia or sorrow evident in the eons old eyes. He stood up. Wait, no...The wheelchair collapsed on itself, horse legs seeming to appear from the centre of the wheelchair. Soon enough, a centaur with a white palomino horse body and a shirt that said: 'What happened in the 70s, stay in the 70s.' Kenna blinked, while Kristie seemed unfazed.

~After the dam orientation video~

A scrawny boy with machine oil splattered on his shirt and jeans walked up to the Big House. "Hey Chiron. I'm supposed to bring these two for a tour, right?" Chiron nodded, gently nudging Kristie and Kenna forward. "Hi. I am Kenna and this is Kristie here." Kenna grinned. "Leo Valdez. Admiral, Mr. Spock, Repair Boy, Supreme Commander of the Argo ll, Uncle Leo, Blue Bottom, Black Bottom the Sequel, Bad Boy Supreme, Super McShizzle. Son of Hephaestus. Lemme guess. Unclaimed?" Chiron replied, "Yes. They'll probably be claimed at the campfire though. Put them in the Hermes cabin first." Leo grinned like a maniac and said," Well watcha waitin' for? Uncle Leo's gonna take you for the tour!"

~timeskip brought to you by: Festus~

"...and these are the two Hermes cabins. As Hermes is the god of travellers, unclaimed peeps stay here first. Once they are claimed, they will stay at their respective cabins, according to godly parent. We have two Hermes cabins: one for the Hermes kids, one for the unclaimed people. There used to be only one cabin, but it got so squeezy with new campers that we built another. They still eat at the same lunch table though, as well as follow the same counsellor. Or counsellors, two of them are co-counsellors. Travis Stoll and Connor Stoll. All supplies you need are already in there. Next..." Leo trailed off, staring at Kristie.

Kristie stared across the cabins, currently purple eyes staring, mesmerized at Cabin 20. Stones upon stones with engraved writing on them built up the structure. However, Kristie saw what it seemed like her two companions could not: a misty, purple-white aura surrounding the cabin. As if in a trance, she put a shaky step forward, slowly reaching out her hand. Worried, Kenna waved her hand in front of her best friends face and her other hand took a strand of her own dark chocolate hair and tickling her cheek, saying," Gaia to Kenna. Gaia to Kenna."

"Woah yeah what did I miss?" Kristie blinked, snapping out of her trance. "What was that? It was like you were possessed or...something weird!"

"Idk. Kenna, chill."

"Ummm...I would really like a nice chat about what happened but I gotta report this to Chiron...you know what? Never mind." Leo glanced up at something above her head. Kenna followed his line of vision and gasped. "What is that?" She whispered. "What? What's on my head?" She swatted the air, as if getting rid of an insect.

"That, my friends, is getting claimed, or determined." Leo said. Campers walking out of hanging around near them stared, while the others streamed out of the cabins. Even Chiron clopped towards them.

He hesitated before saying," Your godly parent." "Who?" Kenna asked, her blood draining from her face.

Above her head gleamed a hologram wreathed in amethyst flames. Two torches crossed each other, crossroads gleaming faintly n the background.

The campers and Chiron knelt, one by one, before Chiron announced, his voice thunderous-

"Hecate. Controller of the Mist. Goddess of Necromancy, Magic and Crossroads. Hail, Kristie Seraphina Pryor, Daughter of Hecate."
