~Chapter One~

In the end

"JO! TURN THAT SHIT OFF AND GET UP!"

"BLACK VEIL BRIDES IS NOT SHIT AND YOU ARE NOT MY MOM DIPSHIT!"

"UGH! HOW ARE WE RELATED!"

Just a normal morning. Waking up to my favorite bands, getting yelled at by my dipshit brother, yelling back at my dipshit brother, and getting ready for my dipshit school. And yes, I do say dipshit a lot. Deal with it.

Anyways, I throw on a pair of ripped jeans, a T-shirt, and of course my converses. I go down stairs into the kitchen and goodbye to my mom and dad.

"Hey Jo, I need you to watch Will today. It is his first day as a 8th grader!"

"Fine Mom, whatever you say."

I flash her a fake smile, which I am great at, and walk out the door.

"So sis, are you going to show me to my locker?" he asked with a smile.

"No, your locker is the same one you had last year. You know where it is." 

"Well then. See you tonight at home sis."

"Yea bye."

As we get on the bus I watch him sit with his friends and I pass him going to the back seat. Sitting down, putting in my earbuds, and listening to some music.

"JO!!! OMG I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!!"

I see Stacey coming down the hallway running towards me. She pulls me into a hug and squeezes.

"OMG! WHY DIDN'T YOU TEXT ME THIS SUMMER?!?!" Stacey asked me frowning

"I was busy." I said hoping she would believe me.

"Awww. Well now we can talk!" she said with a big grin on her face.

"Well, I have to go to my first class. Bye Stacey."

"BYE JO!"

I quickly left her and went to my first class . I could not handle how happy she was and how close I was to falling apart.

Finally my last class of the day. English. I sit down at a desk and get out a book. Next thing I know someone sits down next to me. Before I look at them I look around the class room. All of the other desks were still empty. I did not say anything because I knew that person would not listen.

"Hey..." said the person whose voice was very familiar

"Um.. hey", I look up and I see Lilly. My best friend. "Lilly!"

"Hey Jo! I was wondering when you were going to look up" Lilly said smiling.

"Yea, I just thought you were a random person tho."

"Oh makes sense." Lilly said as the rest of the classroom filled up.

"Yea, I guess." I said back. 

"Me saying something that makes sense to someone else is a first." I mumbled to myself

"What?" Lilly asked confused.

"Oh nothing. Just talking to myself." I answered

"Oh ok. Tell me if something is wrong tho. You know I will understand." she said with a concerned look.

"I will Lilly. I know you will understand. I promise I will tell you always." I said with a promising look.

"You better Jo."

"I will."
