Harry's pov...
It's a week before thanksgiving and we are having the press conference today. I was dressing up in a navy blue buttoned down dress shirt, rolled up at the sleeves, with my white skinny jeans, and my brown low boots. I put on a black bandana, pushing back my now long curls and I was ready to go.
In no time, Dany was already waiting for me outside the home and I made my way down. Louis and I haven't really had time to talk to each other for the majority of this month. We both know we weren't allowed to see each other until today, tomorrow, and the fight. Tomorrow is the weigh in so it should be interesting.
I was looking forward to seeing Louis today, as my stomach fluttered, just at the thought of seeing him after the month of October.
I guess I seemed a little distracted, because Dany reassured, "You're doing very well Harry, you have nothing to worry about. Your training and preparation are all leading to today, tomorrow, and the fight. Just stay focused." I nodded and kept looking out the window of the car as we passed by some buildings.
Before I knew it, we arrived to the convention center where the press conference was going to be held at. It was going to be televised so I was a bit nervous. From all the years of fighting and being in front of cameras, I was still shy.
We had parked in our reserved spot and soon I see Troy's car park as well. My stomach was filled with butterflies as I saw Louis step out the car. He looked more toned than the last time I saw him. He had a white dress shirt, rolled up at the sleeves like mines, black skinny jeans, outlining his toned legs, and black low boots. He looked amazing and I just wanted to make him feel loved again.
As I checked him out, he caught me staring, and winked at me. In return, I blushed like a cherry red tomato, making him smile. We looked away from each other and headed inside the convention center.
Louis's pov...
When I saw Harry, I just wanted time to stop. He looked mesmerizing in what he was wearing and more buff. Flashbacks took over my head of the past months we had spent together, getting to know what was underneath our clothes. Just with one look, I wanted to do that again. I couldn't wait to get this fight over with, so that we can be free to spend the time we would have left together. Who knows if after the fight we will see each other again like we promised. I'm sure if he wins, he will probably be in endless tours, just going around the world, while I will be stuck here doing amateur fights. Even if I got myself more prepared mentally and physically, Harry obviously had the upper hand. With how massive he is for his age, he can kill me with one punch. He did get taller and broader, I was screwed.
Once we reached the front table on the little stage, where Harry and I will be sitting with our boxing coaches, we had taken a seat on our respective corners. I let out a deep breath I didn't even know I was holding and the redemption began.
The host of this conference was asking each of us questions of how we did our trainings and such. Harry's coach had said how Harry runs his now 10 miles, does 9 reps of each exercise like push ups, sit-ups, etc. He also commented on his speed in punches, it being 30 kilo an hour, which made me widen my eyes. Mines was 10 kilo an hour, so I knew I was way behind. Then, it was Troy's turn to comment on my stats, which were way below Harry's. They even discussed his weight, which was 260 and mines was 159 and his height was 6'3 while mines is 5'9. It was obvious he was going to win, unless my weight and height magically change by tomorrow, which I know that's not going to happen. The thing is even if we discuss weight and height in the press conference, we still have a weigh in the next day to prove if we are lying or not.
Soon, I wanted this press conference to end because I was way embarrassed. Harry was a giant while I'm the little elf, and I knew even the fans in Doncaster will side with Harry. Why in the world did Troy set me up against Harry? In a way I was glad because I happened to meet what could be the love of my life, but at the same time I will seem like a loser. I'm an underweight fighting with a heavy weight.
