Louis's pov...
It felt nice to spend the day with Harry, just us.
I honestly wasn't expecting to see him at the coffee shop, but it seems like we seem to meet up at the most coincidental times. I do have connections yes, but this time they had seemed to work to my advantage. He looked so amazing today, just like each time I see him.
As we sat in the coffee shop, we continued to flirt and getting to know each other. For him to be such a successful fighter, he seemed to have a pretty dark past. I felt bad for him, but he seems to be the type of person that doesn't want anyone to feel sorry for him. If anything, he just wants people to look up to him.
I know he's my opponent, but I'm easily looking up to him because he's so damn good to have so many struggles. Also, the fact that he's only 16 and experiencing so much is a huge turn on for me. I feel like I'm spending time with a 20 year old because of how mature he really is. Most 16 year olds today act like they're 12, but not Harry...he just seemed to grow up before his time.
I love the way he carries himself and makes me respect him even more.
I know I was thinking crazy, but the fight was beginning to not be so important anymore, because I cared about having a nice friendship with Harry even more. As hours passed and new conversations started, he wasn't as intimidating as I thought he was when I first met him a few weeks ago. I feel like I can be myself around him.
I guess it's the same when you meet someone you didn't expect to meet and yet you feel like you have known them your whole life. That's how I felt with Harry. It was refreshing. The only close friend I have had was Troy, not including my parents or sisters. So I can now have Harry as another close friend. I bet everyone is thinking it's weird to be good friends with your opponent, but there's a first time for everything.
It's way too soon to think of him as anything more than a close friend, and of course later on I want to be more. As for now, I want to keep this like it is, because it's a very good start.
He also says the lamest jokes you could ever think of and they will make one person think, "How can someone as intimidating as him, say such lame things that strangely make you laugh?"
Harry wasn't like anyone else I had met before and I loved that about him.
As we continued to talk, we realized the coffee shop was ready to close. We hadn't noticed we had been talking for five hours. Harry offered, "I want to take you somewhere special, not even Dany knows about it."
My eyes widened and I joked, "You're not going to murder me are you?" He replied seriously, "I could. Do you want me to?" It was my turn to be serious now as Harry went into a fit of laughter. I joined along with him, relieved he wasn't serious.
Between laughs he said, "You're something else Louis Tomlinson I swear." I blushed a bit, feeling like an idiot. Harry gave me a side hug around my waist, keeping his arm there.
He decided to lead me to his secret place and it was an abandoned warehouse.
Once we went inside the dusty place, Harry explained, "I used to come here when I was little, just to think and when the local park would be too crowded. I would be upset and just hit things, just let everything out and then I would feel calm. So now that you know about this place, you can come here and do the same."
I smiled and said, "Thanks Harry, that's very thoughtful of you. And when you feel upset I can just find you here?" He nodded and I gave him a hug, as he hugged me back tightly. He smelled of cinnamon and coffee, them now becoming my two favorite scents.
After standing around, enjoying each other's company, he finally said, " I can't believe we are doing this. Just hanging out like old friends do."
I agreed, "Yeah, maybe we were meant to. At first I honestly thought you were gonna be some cocky bastard who probably had your parents give you everything you wanted, being young and all. Probably an immature prick, but I could be very wrong. I like you, you make all of this mean something. You deserve to win."
Harry was silent and said afterwards, "You really think so? I mean I want this more than anything in the world. I know you do too, but to me it means everything to win. I don't mean to say I want to step on people's toes to get to the top, but with everything I had been through, winning this can change everything."
I smiled and said, "I completely understand. Before I met you and right when I saw you, I knew I was going to lose. I mean your stats are out of this world for a kid your age. I couldn't even come close to that if I tried. I had thought Troy was literally feeding me to the sharks by setting me up in a fight with you. I will try to throw a punch in or two, but I know you might knock me out in the second round."
Harry smiled and laughed, saying, "What makes you think I won't knock you out in the first round?"
I blushed at his cockiness which was starting to turn me on. There's nothing that Harry doesn't do that can't turn me on. I had butterflies in my stomach, but I knew I had to calm down my feelings.
Before I knew it, Harry walked closer to me. He was now facing me, too close for comfort, but this time I wanted him to be there. He lifted my chin up with his index finger and said huskily, "Cat got your tongue?" By now I wasn't blaming anyone if I happened to have a hard on. He was now closer, our lips almost touching. It wasn't helping that he was being a big tease, but yup I was hard.
I started to think of nasty thoughts until I wasn't hard anymore, but now I knew who to think about while I take my showers.
