Tadashi x Reader

"Why can't I figure this out?!" you cried, throwing your pencil down in defeat. You were an art major, why did you have to take a math class?

"Oh come on, it can't be that hard," Tadashi replied from beside you.

Oh yes, Tadashi and his "sciencey brain," as you describe it. Numbers clicked with him, and you just had squiggly lines. Sure, your "squiggly lines" became amazing portraits, but realistically where was art going to take you? You weren't Monet, or Van Gough, so you couldn't sell your painting for a very high price. Sighing, you continued to figure out the x and y intercepts on the page.

"Show your work," Tadashi called back, almost passive aggressively.

You just rolled your eyes, and continued working. After the eleventh try of getting the wrong answer, you through your pencil down in defeat.

"I'm never going to pass this class," you cried.

Tadashi plopped down beside you, and ruffled your hair a bit. He snatched the pencil from the ground beside your chair, and checked over your work.

"This is where you went wrong. You forgot to distribute the negative five into the equation. Then when you solve you get x equals thirty-two, and y equals fifty-six. This can be used for so many things in science. Oh (Y/n)!" Tadashi began to ramble about robots and math, and you just kind of tuned him out. It was nice to see him this excited over something.

"Hey, for every right answer I'll give you a present," Tadashi offered, handing you your pencil back.

"Like what?" you countered.

Tadashi bent down and kissed your cheek. He grinned before whispering, "Something like that."

You proceeded to get all correct answers on that assignment.
