Chapter 4

A/N: hey guyys sorry for not posting but school has been crazy and i just don't have time. I've been working on this chapter for a while now and i'm really proud. But i have no idea were this story is going if you jave any ideas leave a comment! (Again english is not my first language so i do apologize for grammar and spelling mistakes✌)

it has been a month

A whole month, Sofia was home and healthy and her trial was going well. There was just this one thing missing Arizona.
She is not dead, but she is not alive she was simply in a coma.
Sofia was constantly asking "when is mommy going to wake up?" "Can she just come home and sleep in my bed?"
Not esay but it was her reality to tell her little baby that her dream was so much fun she just kept sleeping.
She has improved; it is not like there is no chance for her to come back, there is 80% of her to wake up with in the next few weeks but only 50% chance that she will come back the same way she left. It was like tossing a coin and hoping for the best.
But Callie was prepared for anything that might come her way, she looked confident and she grew closer to Owen who was the only one who knew everything that was going in her mind.
She was scared
She wanted to lose hope
She wanted to scape
She wanted to quit
But thanks god she didn't because the hospital needs her, Sofia needs her and if Arizona wakes up she will need her.

"Dr. Torres?"
"Yes?"
"Maldonado is in the other room, he is with Wilson, they are waiting for you" Chang, a scared intern that was assinged to Callie and she really wanted him of her service. But Maldonado and Wilson on the other hand, they are basically callie's prodiges.

The only constant in her life is her work. Her work, the one thing she was sure she was doing right. If she could just be in the O.R. and the lab all day it will be okay with her. She enjoyed every moment she loses her self and adores the fact of fixing people, giving them the ability to walk again; she adored easy fixes.

Only if her life could be an easy fix.

There is nothing easy or simple about her, she got married, got cheated on, divorced, then she was in love with a woman who left her. Then Arizona came along and they broke up a hundred times then back together but she was pregnant and then there was a car accident and almost lost her life and daughter, she lost her best friend in a plane crash and almost lost her wife but apparently her wife lost everything. And now this. Why.

"Dr Torres?"

Her toughts were interrupted by the same annoying intern that she really coudn't remmeber his name

"What"
"Maldonado and Wilson are in the other room, they are waiting for you, we've been standing here for like.. 5 minutes"
"Shut up" Callie admired a couragious intern. Maybe he'll grow on me she thought as she entered the room.

"You coming?"

"Me really?"

"Yes or no? Either you come or paperwork for the rest of the week"

"Yes i mean no. What? Yes i'll go. Yes"

"Then move it"

In the room Jo and Joseph Maldonado were studying some x-rays

"Dr Torres. Here is Oliver Gianulli the patient I was telling you about. He is the perfect candidate for the trial. I think with him we could take it to the next level" Said Maldonado

"Hey, hold up homeboy you just got here!" Barked Wilson

"But Dr. Torres asked me to be here"

"She asked me too. In the beginig. As soon as it started"

"Yeah? That is why-"

"Okay you two are going to control yourself"

"But-"

"Shut it Maldonado,
Okay you are going to listen. Wilson don't start a fight out of the blue, and Maldonado it's true you just got here. But i have the two of you here because you are the best residents in my opinion and I need the best for my trial. This is my child. And if yoy don't control yourself you are going to kill my child and i will personally burn your eyebrows and get your butts kicked out of this hospital. Are we clear?"
"Yes Dr. Torres" they both said in chorus.
"So let's re start. We will test Mr Gianulli as soon as posible again and if everything is correct we are good to go. The goal with him is to get him to walk again with both robotic legs, we spect that he will be able to walk, jump, maybe even run. The sky is the limit. Let's do this. I need you both to-"

BEEP-BEEP

"I need to go but. I need you to be exellent and do it right as soon as he is admitted. Page me. Here you can use him for help. Try not screwing up intern"

Callie left the room leavig two young doctors exited and the other one was just confused.

"So we have to... what are we supposed to do next? She didn't said anything!" Chang rammbled

"Okay kid, with Torres you need to become a mind reader" said Maldonado

"And we have to prep the tests. you need to contact the patient ASAP"
Said Wilson

"Okay but wait, she is weird right? I mean she thinks she is really important? But kick you out of the hospital. What?"

"Oh kid, you are way too new. She basically owns the hospital with other attendees. So yeah she can."

"So shut up and GO AND GET MR GIANULLI NOW"

Chan stormed out of the room. Really scared.

Wilson lauged and said "that was me in my first time in Torres service"

"Same here she is just amaizing and has so much power. I mean she is the best mentor in the world. And she will be mine"

"What. You are going ortho?"

"Yeah well duh. I've been after torres since day one. Why. You going ortho?

"Well yes and Dr torres will be MY mentor next year"

"Neh you are wrong she will be MY mentor next year"

"Well it's on Maldonado"

"It's on Wilson. Let the best Resident win"

There was an akward silence and enough tension to make a monkey awkard and suddenly both left the room running when they realised they had to start sucking up to torres now and the trial was the answere.

Callie entered Arizona's room. She has promised her self she will visit her two times a day to the point that she even has alarms to remind her and go visit her.
"Hi honey"
She was waiting for a response. But obviously, nothing.
"Today has been great. The residents think they've found the patient that will make the trial go to the next level. So fingers crossed i guess."
Callie stared at her emotioneless wife's face "Sofia is doing this really nice thing for you, she is doing a drawing of each and everyday until you wake up so you don't miss anything... She really misses you. And let's be real, i miss you too."
Callie grabed Arizona's hand "So i need you to fight. We are so close, i need you to be awake and help me with everything. I need you. I just simply need you."

And with that Arizona went into cardiac arrest.

It was like the world has stopped. A massive wave of people entered the room, they moved around and were basically on top of Arizona; everything was a blur and she felt some one taking her out of the room. It was Owen
"What happened?"
"I-i-i ju-st do-n't" She was not able to make sentence. And she was never in this state of shock it was like something was telling her everything was going to be bad. Call it sixth sense or gut feeling but she knew this was the beginig of something really, really bad.

A/N: So what do you think??? Based on the comments i got (which i LOOOVE) I understand you want Arizona alive but you have to wait until next chapter to find out...
