Davon's POV
I walked back in the room to see Dym with my phone in her hand and she looked like she was about to cry. I immediately became concerned at what was happening before me."Baby girl what's wrong?" I asked moving towards her.
Tears slowly started to fall one by one. "Who is Chi-Chi? And why is she texting you goodnight baby I'll see you when you get back from visiting your family?"
When She said China's name I immediately froze up.
I knew I messed up but I didn't know what to do. I had been caught off guard and I wasn't sure what to say to her. I stepped forward and tried my best to do what I had to.
"Look baby girl I swear it's not what you think. That girl means nothing to me & I would never hurt you dealing with another girl." I spoke slowly trying to make her feel better. I knew I was doing a shitty job but I had to try.
I raised my hand to wipe the tears from her face but she threw her hand up stopping me before I could make contact.
"Just go, please." She said with tears still falling.
I had broken this girls heart and I didn't even know it. But little did I know I hadn't only broken her heart but mine too. I slowly backed away and tried to plead with her.
"Dym, please don't leave me. I love you and you know that. I would do anything for you. Don't leave me that's all I ask." I said with a lump growing in my throat from the emotions I was feeling. I felt like I was going to cry.
"Just go please just leave me alone, I don't want to see you anymore." She screamed throwing my phone at me and I knew I couldn't do anything right now. She was too hurt. I gave her one last heartfelt look and walked to my car.
I sat in my car for about twenty minutes cursing and hitting the steering wheel. I had messed up and I knew it. All because I thought I could have my cake and eat it too. I pulled off and drove for what seemed like hours before reaching my house.
I got out of my car and walked into the house. I threw my keys on the table at the door and went to my room. All I wanted to do was sleep. I couldn't believe what just happened.
I kicked off my shoes and fell onto my bed. I left Shawnnah for the girl of my dreams just to fuck it up.
Great!

Dymond's POV
Davon and I had been over for about two weeks when I started talking to Jordan again. He was funny, smart, sweet, and was overall a great guy from what I could tell. He had taken me on a couple of dates so far which I probably wouldn't have went on if it wasn't for my Bestfriend. What can I say she's very persuasive. They were fun though.
We did little things like movie dates, ice cream, & dinner dates. I loved the attention he gave me. It made me feel special. We had dated before but the distance was an issue. Now that we're closer we decided to give it another chance. Things were going great I was happy but I couldn't help the little part of me that wondered about Davon.
I was walking through school when I spotted him, he was standing at the end of the hallway with some girl, my boy bestfriend, and another girl who I assumed was the girls friend.
I walked up and he turned to her saying "Hold on Chi-Chi."
I stood there in shock for about thirty seconds. Before he snapped me back to reality. "Uh hey Dym, what's up?" He said rubbing his hand over the back of his neck nervously.
I looked between him and her silently. I examined her as she spoke to her friend not paying me any attention. She was a little taller than me and a little darker but not much, she wasn't built like me she was sort of chubby, her hair was shoulder length but it was so pretty & her smile was nice. I could see why he was attracted to her but not enough to leave me for her. I snapped out of it when I realized I was basically staring.
"Uh-Uh, I came over here for him." I said grabbing my Bestfriends hand pulling him away leaving Davon standing there staring at me walking away towards the other end of the hall.
"Talk about an awkward situation." He said as we rounded the corner.
"Oh shut up Maurice. I need you to listen to me." I said in a serious tone.
"Mhmmm." He says and the pretends to lock his mouth and throw away the key.
"I swear I hate you so much child, but I need a favor. Since you get out before me I need you to goto my house grab my red body con dress, my black red bottoms, silver accessories, & a black purse. Please." I said making a list for him
"Why do you need all of this stuff." He says raising an eyebrow at me in a knowing sort of way.
"Jordan & I are going on a date tonight and I can't get home to grab it so please." I begged
"Fine but I want all the details." he said smirking at me.
"Thanks you're the best." I said hugging him and then running off to class.
I reached the classroom placing my bag on the floor next to my desk. It was heavy because I never went to my locker. I was to busy being jealous. I couldn't help but wonder if they had become a thing now. I mean I know it was none of my business. I was still curious but curiosity killed the cat. I still wanted to know but that'd have to wait for now.
