Chapter 7: My Boyfriend's Bully (Part 2)

Alexis' POV
I looked in shock as Keithie stomped away to homeroom. Donna and Charlotte come towards me with shocked faces as well.

"What just happened?" I asked my best friend.

"I think Keithie was trying to impress you" Donna says quietly and now I feel horrible.

"Yeah, he was trying to look tough and then you basically were the one who was tough" Charlotte adds. I put my head in my hands. If only I knew. I looked down to the floor and headed inside homeroom with Donna and Charlotte behind me. I sat next to Keithie who was looking out the window.

"Keith, please talk to me?" I plead placing my arm on his shoulder. He just looked at me with a hurt expression and looked at the window again.

"I don't need you to fight my battles" he finally says after a minute of silence. I sigh

"I know it's just I hated to see tha kid pick on you. Especially because I love you so much" I say and he looks at me now.

"You do?" He asks and I could see a hint of a smile on his face. I nod smiling.

"I'm sorry I got mad, it's just that I wanted to look brave so you would think I'm a great boyfriend and won't leave me" he says and I hold his hand under the table.

"Keithie Feder, I promise you no matter what you do, I will always be there and I'm not gonna go anywhere cause I love you." I say and he smiles big and I giggle. He kissed my nose.

"I love you Alexis Higgins"

"I love you too Keithie Feder"

The day went on pretty fast and well so did the year...........

....Day Before Last Day Of School..
I woke up smiling at the sound of my alarm clock. I looked at my phone and saw the date: June 4th! Just one more day then it's officially summer! I couldn't wait to hang out with my friends and my dads too. I put on an outfit that made me feel comfortable then ran downstairs.

"Um really?"

Um I don't know what to say.....wait I don't even know your..." I saw my dad talking on the phone when he hung up and faced me.

"Hey princess" he says slightly smiling and I just make a confused face.

"Who was that on the phone daddy?" I ask grabbing a glass of orange juice with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

"Um Alexis, honey why don't you sit down" my dad says and we sit on the couch.

"Um what if I told you you are not an only child" he says laughing a little while I just stood there shocked and confused.

"What do you mean?" "Well turns out you have an older brother: Braden, I'm supposed to pick him up tomorrow at the train station and he's gonna hang out with us during the summer" he explains. I have an older brother?!??!? Way to kick off my summer. Then I got a text

Miss Lotte: Hey girl where you at?

"Um daddy I got to go but we can talk about this later" I say and he smiles and gives me a hug.

"Of course have a good day princess" I walk out really confused. Wow! I have an older brother!! The bus stopped across from me and I stepped inside. I saw my 3 best friends at the end. They smiled at me and motioned me over. I slightly smiled and headed there and sat in the middle of Keithie and Charlotte.

"What's with the face?" Charlotte asks.

"What face?" I ask simply.

"The something important just happened face" Donna adds.

"Okay it's just something big is gonna happen in my life" I say.

"You're moving again?!?" Keithie asks sadly.

"No no I'm staying here..it's just I recently found out that I have an older brother" I say. Everyone looks at me.

"Are you serious?" Donna asks in amazement.

"Yeah his name is Braden and he's coming tomorrow to hang out with me and my dad" I say looking at the floor.

"That's big girl..but trust big brothers are kinda the worst" Charlotte tells me with Keithie nodding in agreement.

"But your brothers are pretty cool!" I say as they both groan. The bus stops and we head out.

"All I'm saying is warm up to him before he goes all Jerk Zilla to you" Charlotte says with a hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks for the advice" I say and head into home room.

Mr. Howard went in front of the class explaining how we should learn during the summer and blah blah blah. The only thing I want to learn is how my big brother is. Is he a bully? Or is he cool like Greg and Andre? I was just thinking when someone grabbed my hand.
"Babe home room is over" Keithie laughs as I see everyone leaving. I turn red then head to class hand in hand with Keithie....

"Keithie..do we have to?" I groan.

"My mom invited you over for dinner what's wrong with that?" He asks me as we walk to his house.

"What if your family doesn't like me?" I ask him.

"They love you..I mean they have met you before." He chuckles.

"Fine but if I look bad and your family ends up hating me..I will say I told you so" I sneer.

"You can never look bad and they won't" he laughs kissing my cheek.

We were finally at his house and I was really nervous...wait. Shouldn't it be the other way around?
The sound of a door opening disturbed my thoughts.

"Hi Mom" Keithie smiles as Roxanne kisses his cheek. He groans in embarrassment as I giggle.

"Hi Mrs Feder" I smile as she does too.

"Oh Alexis as much as I love your manners..please call me Roxanne" she says while smiling. I nod. And head inside after Keithie. I see Becky who was drawing as she dropped her pencil and ran over to hug me.

"You didn't tell me she was coming over" Becky says glaring at Keithie.

"Good" he says pulling my hand as we head to the dining room.

"Hi Greg!" I smile. He does too,

"What's up Alexis?" He greets giving me a hug..what I didn't see was the glaring fest Keithie and his brother were having.

"Hi Lenny!" I greet also as he smiles.

"Hey Alexis! Glad you could come over! Your dad knows you here right?" Lenny asks. I nod.
We head to the dinner table as Roxanne serves the food.

"I can't believe it" Greg says as we all stare at him.

"My little brother brings a girl home for dinner before me!" He says as Keithie and Becky laugh, and well so did I.

After a while of talking and laughing I felt my phone buzz.

Daddy: Sweetheart time to go...you have to get up early tomorrow.

"Um my dad is outside" I say as Lenny gets up to go greet his friend. I get up as well and so did Keithie. I said goodbye and thanks to Roxanne.

"So see you tomorrow" Keithie says as we walk out.

"Last day of school and then summer!" I laugh. I see my dad and Lenny still talking.

"Love you" I say hugging Keithie.

"Love you more" he tells me.

"That's impossible but I have to go" he kisses me and I go to my dad.

"Ready to go?" He asks as I nod. We both say goodbye to Lenny and head home.

"Well tomorrow you get to see Braden" my dad says trying to keep the conversation light.

"Can't wait" I say dully...I hope he's nice
