Life as a child was the best part. Rolling in the mud without a care in the world. Splashing in the rain while my mom yelled at me. Some had the priviledge to enjoy childhood like me while some didn't. I remember my thumb and fingers stained black from bending wires. I had an obsession with cars. My parents thought my obsession was weird so stopped buying me toy cars. All they bought were dolls saying how I am a girl and how I should love dolls. But I didn't. All my free time was spent pushing the little wired cars that I made. If not, I was busy reading novels that my elder cousin brought for me. They simply put my mind at ease. Mom wished I was like my elder sister but of course, she never voiced it and I loved her for it. I always picked fights with boys because in my mind, girls were stupid and complicated. I had never been one to cry. It felt stupid. I wished was of school going age. It sounded fun especially when my sister always came home excited for the next day. I was stupid enough to believe her of course and begged my parents to let me go to school. I was three years when I started school. Little did I know that it was not as fun as she made me believe.
