Frankie Granger was a little shy but very rebellious young woman, often seen with a book nestled between her knees, or on the dining table, devouring pages and pages of passionate books, or jumping from Hogwarts' rooftops into lakes. Excluding her adventures, she was a creature of habit, sitting down before the warm fire of the Gryffindor common room and falling asleep when she had her homework already done by her side.
Frankie never showed any other emotion than neutrality, hiding her reoccurring feelings for Harry Potter expertly, as he had been her crush since forever but also was her sister's best friend. She despised the fact that her heart fluttered every time she got to sit next to him, or every time they brushed knees or hands. Her hands shook and she felt fire run through her body.
Frankie was a person who loved being alone but hated being left alone. She could sit on Hogwarts' tower roofs, with her life in danger, and look out into the scenery because it was pretty.
She had done stunts and tricks and she was the most skilled person on campus to do things like that – because while her sister was brilliant at studies, Frankie could kick someone's ass even without a wand. Being a year younger, their next door neighbor taught her lots of tricks while Hermione was gone, so Frankie just had to get better at defending herself at Hogwarts, taking up bullies and beating up more guys than they dared to admit.
But she had a hole in her heart. She loved someone who didn't love her back, right? She could never know that Harry asked Hermione countless times for Frankie's number, and how Hermione politely forgot because she knew Fran hated people prying into her personal life without her consent.
Too bad.
