Chapter 4: The Announcement

Chapter 4 -Phil

Who is he? I’ve never seen him at these party’s before, I definitely would have remembered. 

I’ve never seen someone so perfect. I stared into his brown eyes as he stared into mine, he blushed bright red and looked down towards his feet. He must have been shy, I wonder if he knows who I am. He looked up at me again, smiling,  “he has the cutest dimples”, I thought to myself. He started to mouth something, “Speak”.

It was then that I realised everyone there was staring at me waiting for me to talk. I coughed looking around, acting as casually as I could hoping no-one noticed me staring at this beautiful boy. I heard him chuckle, he has the cutest laugh I’ve ever heard. Smiling at him I started to talk. “Hi guys, just wanted to announce that I have been asked to do a radio show for an hour, and if all goes well they’re going to give me a permanent place for the show!” “Woah, that’s great” “Well done Phil” I heard a few people saying, they then started applauding. I wasn’t the type to announce things but I had to tell everyone one way or another and I was happy for the support.

Everyone dispersed into their groups again as the music was put back on. I looked around for the cute, dimpled boy, to my surprise he was still staring at me. Next to him was Chris who seemed to have notice our encounter and was beckoning me over with his eyes. Walking over to him I blanked everyone else out. 

It was like all that mattered was him.

A million thoughts rushed through my head: did he know who I was, did he like my videos, did I scare him whilst I was staring at him.

I guess I’ll find out, I thought to myself as I finally reached him.
