Have you ever thought about what you have? Not like friends or parents who love you, but things who’s always there, nearly for everyone.  Things we nearly don’t know we take for granted. Have you thought about the gifts you’ve gotten; eyes who sees, ears who hears. No?

Not me neither, until a while ago.

I can still remember. My head hitting the asphalt hard. Pain like I never ever had felt before. The scream that went through my mouth was also like nothing I’ve ever felt before. Carried on the air in my lungs my scream went heavily out of my body. Unable to do anything I just laid there. In blood, pain and suffer. How do I know? Fransi and Peter told med that. My friends told me. They were there when it happened.

I was driving my new scooter. Suddenly the asphalt went slippery and my scooter overturned. My back head hit the grown.

That has been the worse day in my life since. At that day, 24th of July 2012, I became blind. And have been that for a year now. It was like living in the darkest night all the time.
