Your name is Dave Strider and the world is ending.

First, John told you that he thinks that you're starting to "grow" apart from him and that you don't care about as much as you did before. Second, Bro disappeared without anybody knowing right before the day the world started to end or whatever and now you have know clue where he is.... God, and right when you need him too. Third, on the news they say that people are disappearing left and right. Well Bro left beforehand so that's good. Fourth, Terezi called saying that you and John should start running soon which was certainly suspicious. Fifth, John went missing (not really) yesterday night. He left a note on the counter saying that he's going to go back to his house to get some things and come back, but that written at 00:17 and it's 14:20 right now and he's still not back.

You start to worry about John and decide to go out and look for him.

First thing you notice right after stepping outside is that the air is very muggy and barely breathable. So with a blank face, still, you walk back in and grab a bandann and tie it around your mouth and nose. After you do that you step out again. The air is a bit easier to breath in but it's still is making you gag a bit.

So after that you can see a lot has happened in the past few days. First, the streets are deathly quite. If the streets are quite then something is very wrong. The streets are always busy with cars passing by, kids playing, and the skateboarders being, well skateboarders. Second, the sky is yellow-green and that's something that you don't see everyday. Third, the sun is no where to be seen and there's no clouds and it's still bright outside. Fourth, Jade is standing right in front of you.

"Jade what do you need because you would never come to Texas unless it's something important." you say as Jade welcomes herself in without saying anything. Now you see, if Jade's quiet then something is REALLY wrong... you think.

"... Dave. Somethings happening to us and it's not just in the U.S for all you know."

You roll your eyes at her for pointing out the obvious and thankfully Jade couldn't see it but her attitude was bothering the fuck out of you.

You stare at her completely shocked by the sudden mood change of the cheerful girl. You already knew that this-virus-thing wasn't only in the USA but then again, you could be oblivious as hell. She probably wanted to tell you just to make sure you understood.

"Dave? Where's John? He's usually here. So where is he?" she asked in a tone that you're more comfortable with.

Once again, shocked by the sudden mood change.

"Oh well uhhhh.... How do I say this.. Um,
Johnisathishouseandhasntcamebackyetandhewrotethisletterat00:17andhehasntcameback" you quickly say hoping that Jade didn't understand.

"Oh. Okay then. Want to go look for him?" and yet she still understands you.

How does this child understand these things after being raised by a dog???

You let out a frustrated sigh as you go to get another bandanna, specifically neon green. Strangely enough, you have a bandanna for everybody (even the trolls and yes, they live on the good ol' planet earth) with their favourite colour and customized design on each. Even though John insisted that he would pay for his own, you still payed for it, all.

You also get the "Heir of Breath" bandanna for John just in case he would need it.

"Dave. Why is John in Texas anyways. 'Cause John lives in Washington and now he's here in Texas. And what do you mean by going to 'his' house. I don't remember you guys buying another hous-. Ohhhh, wait I just answered my own question. This is Bro's apartment right? So then it's reasonable for you guys to get a house! Right?"
