People say that I should be somebody that I'm not.
You're fascinated with the old me and I'm not gonna change just because you don't approve.
I didn't do it to make you happy. I'm doing it for the ones that are still clapping for me.
I see you there with your hands up and I know it's real 'cause you're just like us.
We can be the ones they hate.
I'm pulling hairs trying to cope with this crap that I'm faced with.
How do I face this in a world rendered tasteless?
Hey! Yeah you! Guess what? I'm doing this to make myself happy for once, this is not for you.
Some people just can't be happy, but no more questions so don't bother asking.
You're stuck in the past and I'm not looking back. Not anymore.
You're stuck on the fence and I'm over it.
If you're gonna ask me to change just because you don't approve, maybe you should look at yourself.
You're fighting to get in, but guess what? It's not gonna be easy.
For so long, I have fought this, but now that I have give my life for this, it's definitely never gonna be all gold and glory.
I know that I can't change my story, but I'll do the best I can to change it.
