Prologue: Past to Present

Lucy POV: Past age 6

"Momma why do you have wings?" I asked my Mommy with wide eyes. My Mother smiled and pulled me into a hug.

"Baby Girl you will have them to. I can tell." Mommy said still hugging me.

"When?" I whispered excitedly. 

"Soon." Mommy said picking me up off the ground, carrying me to the mansion.

End of Flashback

Still Lucy's POV: Age 17, Town of Magnolia 

I sat on the windowsill staring out at the river across from my apartment, thinking about my memories of my Mother and I before her death. I miss you Mommy. I decided to finally get up and get dressed to go to the Guild and maybe go on a solo mission, I would have to be extremely stealthy to make sure Natsu doesn't see me though. Great.  I dressed in a pink tank top with the "symbol of Strength" that I got from an old friend when I was a child and  black shortie shorts with a pair of black wedges. I grabbed my keys off of my desk and fetched my whip off  the  kitchen table and with that I was off.

When I got to the Guild, Natsu wasn't there and in fact a lot of Guild-mates were missing. Strange. I shrugged my shoulders and walked up to the request board looking for a slightly complicated job, so I could stretch my wings. Its been months since I was able to do so and let me tell you, my back is absolutely killing me. Every once in awhile they will begin to summon themselves, its truly like they have a mind of their own. Creepy right? After I finally found a suitable job I walked over to Mirajane to stamp it, so I could leave.  

I just bought my ticket from the stand about 3 minutes ago and now I'm looking over my job request it read

                                                            Aggressive Meat Snatchers  

Please help us, we are having problems with a fairly large pack of wolves. They keep stealing our sheep and our daily meat gatherings. We would like a Mage who can handle Himself  or Herself against these mutts. Please hurry we need your help.

It sounds super easy. I wonder why the towns called River Rock where the wolves are attacking. Well better make this quick. I chose my seat on the train and then dozed off thinking more about Mom.

Past: Flashback(Lucy's Dream)

Lucy POV: Age 8

I'm currently watching Mom stretch out her white and cream colored flawless angel wings. I watch closely as she explained to me how to summon my wings, since I was now old enough to fly, or flutter in this case.

"Lucy Daring, clear your mind. Think only of growing wings and what you believe flying is like, ok?" My Mother said warmly.

"Ok, clear my head, think of birds and wings and lots and lots of white feathers!" I shouted, smiling. I kept repeating the same lines and thought real hard to summon my wings. I felt a tingling sensation all over and heard my Mother gasp.

"My baby's going up." I heard my Mother whimper and opened my eyes to see her wiping away spilled tears. I looked to my side to see grey and cream colored wings about 2 foot long with white speckles in the centers on both wings.

"Mommy I did it!!" I shouted.

"I knew you could Honey!" My Mom said in a sweet voice, still wiping the tears off her face.

End of Flashback

Back to the Present, Lucy POV:

I heard a loud click and quickly opened my eyes and got up. Wait is this River Rock? I looked around, it appeared to be at the foot of a mountain base with a lot of forestry and some dirt paths with like 40 small buildings. Were they their homes? This is even weirder why do the buildings look like caves? I feel a cold shiver go down my spine. I see some movement coming out and walking out from one of the building.

"May I help you Miss?" Asked a brunette woman who appeared to be around her late fifties , judging by her wrinkles. I think. 

"Yeah, maybe........... is this River Rock, by chance?" I asked in a low voice.

"Yes, this is River Rock. My name is Matsuko, welcome to River Rock how may I help you?" She asked in a low feminine voice.

"Lucy Heartfilia, Celestial Spirit Mage from Fairy Tail at your service." I stated shaking her aged hand, her eyes lit up.

"Are you really here to help my peoples territory and us, women from those Damn Wolves?" She asked looking hopeful.

"Of course, Fairy Tail's one and only Celestial Mage at your service." I shouted. Really I'm actually a Celestial Angel Slayer, but now no one knows that, huh. My dirty little secret.
