8. no zoe?!

I woke up and sat on my bed.

I kept on stretching and yawning.

"good morning" i called out.

I glanced at my calender.

Its wednesday.

I went to queen emillia to ask her about tommorow.

"queen emillia?" i called.

"yeah honey, im here" she called from her bedroom.

"can i go to a cheerleading championship tomorrow?"

"okay, sweetie but you will go with the guards" she said and i nodded smiling meschieviously.

"anyways, can i go for a little walk? And ill stay with my friend with some time" i asked.

"with the guards" she said nodding.

"ill be a bit late"

"with the guards"

"umm.. Yeah with the guards.."

"with the guards"

"stop saying this!"

She nodded and. I heard her murmur 'with the guards'..

I skipped to my room and got dressed.

I wore my light jeans and a purple tank top and a bair of black sneakers.

I went down and the guards followed me. They were still angry so i can feel their glares at me like daggers.

"who are you glaring at?!" i scolded. They stayed sielent.

I reached zoe's house.

I knocked the door and zoe opened.

She was ready for the rehearsals with her cheerleading outfits.

It was a white and red bouse with the word 'Fireworks' printed on it, and a red knee length skirt and her pom-poms were one red and the other was white.

"are you ready?" she squealed and i nodded.

"why is the word 'fireworks written?"

"we are team fireworks" she said with a chuckle.

We walked a little and the guards kept following us.

Then i told her my little plan. She looked scared at first but she went with it anyways.

We started walking faster, then we started running as fast as we could.

The guards were'nt surprised this time, they ran after us.

We kept taking sharp turns and jumped over bushes but then we couldnt see them anymore.

They took a sharp right then they left us.

"are they gone?" zoe asked.

"it cant be!" i said shaking my head.

"ill take this as a yes"

We high-fived.

Then suddenly one appeared infront of us, "ha! You wont escape us!" he said.

I stopped running and my eyes widened in shock as i saw them, a circle around us, full of guards.

I smacked myself on the forhead.

I glanced at the house beside us. It was low. But i cant reach it in a jump. I could use a ladder anyways..

Then zoe whispered in my ears and my eyes widened in excitement. I nodded and i looked at the guards. Each one in the eye.

They stood confidently making a circle around us and folding their arms, they hanged their guns in their belt, ready to be used at anytime.
