Part 4 ❤ watch out here comes the love birds.

I left the house to meet Zac at around 8:30. Just before the bell for first period. I found him waiting in the school parking lot with his old truck and a Starbucks hot chocolate. Surprisingly he gave it to me.

I think I am geting closer to Zac. He seems to be the only one acting as a friend to me right now and I have built a wall of trust in him. But I know if Liam and I were friends right now i wouldn't give a care in the world to Zac. I just can't get Liam out of my head. And I'm considering telling Zac.

"You said you needed to talk to me" he spoke sipping some hot chocolate before handing it to me.

"Well yeah-" I paused unsure if this was a bad mistake. Just on cue Kayla appeared.

" hey cady! Zac... What the hell are you doing with Cady?" She yelled out

" being a friend unlike mrs ditcher here" he replied

She growled at him and he headed out into the school waving back at me and mimicking Kayla rudely with his hands.

" aaaahh cady cady cady!!!" She burst out

"Yeah."

" be happy for me!!"

" about?" I made sure my answers were short and unenthusiastic to portray my distaste in the way shed been treating me recently

" Liam....!!"

" ok?"

" asked me out on a first date !!" She yelled "aaaaaahh!!!!"

I felt my heart throb. I couldn't breathe. The world around me started to spin. I felt dizzy and lost.

Without warning I collapsed to the floor.

I guess it never really Dawned on me JUST how Much I Liked him.

I awoke in a hospital room. Behind the curtain I could make out a shadow of a man.

Zac.

He came in and perched at the end of my bed.

"U ok?" He asked

" dizzy .. But yh I think"

He smirked .

For a couple of moments we got lost in silence. It's not like we were ever close enough to be sat here crying to each other and declaring our love for one another- we were just friends and it made things incredibly awkward.

I heard laughs from the other side of the curtain.

"Here come the lovebirds" I heard Zac mutter

" cady! " kayla burst in. "Goodness are you ok?"

I didn't even answer. Since when did she care?

I could make out the shadow of another man behind the curtain

ZAc took the words out of my mouth.

"Who's that?"

"Liam."

And then I realised how little he must think of me to the point where he can't even wish an injured person a 'get well soon'

Kayla stared down at me. She knelt down placing her mouth by my ear and whispered

"I know you like him. I can help you"

And with that she got up and left the room. Hand in hand with Liam. Zac trailed behind soon after to catch his bus. Later on he returned with his truck to give me a lift home.

We talked alot during the journey. Mostly about the new 'it' couple. We laughed at the possible couple names Kiam or Layla. Zac joked about how Layla was too much of a pretty name and Kiam too much of a handsome name and how they deserved something like liya. Short for liar or something far far worse.

I kinda guessed that Kayla was mad at me. After Zac dropped me home I saw Kayla coming round to get picked up by Zac. I waved and she cut me off completely.

Wonderful.

I guess I should tell her the truth. I don't want our friendship to end, but either way it probably will..
