So, with the Halloween season rolling around, I planned on doing a Halloween special for one of the fanfictions on my account. Then I had an idea. What if each club had a contest for Halloween specials? So this was created!

Your entry will just be a short one-shot of any story you have, but it must be in the fandom of the club you're in. That means if you have multiple, say, Naruto stories and enter the contest for Shinobi, you can do the special for a book that isn't in the club.  If you are in multiple clubs, you can have one entry per club.

The winner will be chosen by the votes of the members as well as votes by some of us top admin. This said, you cannot vote for your own story, and I really hope you will try to read all the selections and not just the ones done by your friends.

The prize is something very simple. The winner of the contest will get an entire batch dedicated to their book. As in the winner gets to sit back and relax while the other members all read seven of their book chapters. That's right – seven. Unless there is a reason one of the members cannot complete this higher amount (yes, I'm going to be lenient for this time only), they can just do the usual five, or four if I lower it as I am thinking about doing. But yeah. Basically you become the "book of the batch." Not much of a prize, but reviews are always great for a writer. The only thing to keep in mind when deciding which story to enter is that if it's a very short story – as in less than four chapters – you may have problems being paired later on. So if you do win and don't want to be a "book of the batch" because of this, let me know what you would want instead.

So, to reiterate:

Prompt: Create a one-shot for one of your stories that will act as a Halloween special.  It can be AU, follow the plot of your story, add to the plot of your story, whatever you want.  Just a holiday special for your story basically.

Prize: The story that the holiday special was for will be a book of the week.
