Light up the world

Walk in the park and you'll see
Lanterns hanging in the night
Transport you back in time
Radiating lights oh so bright

Far away from here
Lamps in the lighthouse sweep the sea
The beams they send
Allow sailors to be back for tea

Out in the busy city
Neon signs call on the streets
Their loud letters
Promising offers and other feats

Flash! Go the cameras
At the film première
Excited fans that spot their idols
Can only stop and stare

Fairy lights twinkle
Outside a cosy diner
And somewhere by the port
Drifts a lit up cruise liner

A crowd has gathered
- fireworks explode in the dark
Raining down like stardust
Tiny fiery sparks

Bright lights at an amusement park
Dazzle weary eyes
The lights so magical,
They resemble fireflies

Light up the world
