him and me (II)

him and me (II)

he was him, and i was me,
for his love, i would swim the sea,
i would swim through the pacific as i should,
i would swim to other planets if i could.
the engulfing water matched his eyes,
those which were bluer than all the skies.
those that sparkled like the sunlight flare,
those that faced the world without a care.
but in the sea, i would cry and scream,
i would choke as water filled my bloodstream.
there, i would drown, because i can't swim,
but i would still do it again, all for him.
