Violette's POV

It's Wednesday and tomorrow is the formal prom. Casey, Madelaine and I's band have been asked to perform at the prom for money but we aren't going to perform because Michael has asked Madelaine to the prom and Casey is going with Ashton, and I'm going with Luke. Neither of us are going as dates, just as friends because we thought it'd be nice.

Currently I'm at the stables. Finishing up for the day, tacking of the horse. Yes. I actually ride horses, I've got my own one named Vitta Burton.

She's a Danish sports pony, she's also white. Therefor I think of her as a princess pony, but she easily gets dirty which is quite irritating because there's a lot of cleaning.

I'm actually done for the day, and going back to Madelaine's, she's done with work also now. All of the eight guys and us four girls are going to meet up at Madelaine's and then go shopping because we have to buy some formal wear.

"I refuse wearing high heels," Casey cries out. Madelaine and I both agree to that, because neither of us are able to wear high heels, and wearing heels for us is like walking on fire. Impossible. "I want to wear vans,"
"As do I," I settle. Of course the guys don't complain and just let us do whatever we want. I bet that they wouldn't mind what we wear. If it were up to them they'd probably just put us in pyjamas, because it's easier that way.

30 minutes have passed and we're still looking for dresses. Michael, Calum, Ashton and Luke have all found their clothes. Black skinny jeans and some type of shirt, the only thing they're missing is a tie, because they want the tie to match our dress. Why do they even care about that? I do not know.

"Casey!" Madelaine shouts. I look over at her. She's holding a maroon dress, about knee length and has two straps.
"Yes?" Casey curiously responds.
"I think I've found your dress," Madelaine shows Casey the dress. Casey's eyes light up and she nods her head fast.

We ended up looking for dresses for about 1 and a half hours. I mean that's not too bad. Most people I've heard of use about 3 hours for only one dress, and we had to find 3 dresses.

Madelaine is going to wear a beige dress, with long arms and has a loose skirt that's just above knee length.

I, on the other hand, chose a black dress, that sits tight and has no sleeves. Ashton decided that I should wear my green vans and he's wear a green tie.

Michael didn't have a clue what type of tie he wanted to go for, therefor Madelaine decided that she's wear her light pink converse.

And lastly Luke will be wearing a maroon tie to match Casey's dress, and she's going to wear her all black vans.

Since we left to go shopping at 5 it's now 8pm. And the guys have decided that they'll sleep over at Michael and we girls are going to sleep over at Madelaine's.

We haven't got school tomorrow because of the formal. I actually don't know why, because we actually don't start the formal until 6pm, but I guess they've just decided to do it that way, I'm not complaining.

"Have we got some snacks?" Casey asks from the kitchen. I chuckle.
"I believe we keep it above the fridge," even though this isn't my house, I know where everything is. When you've known someone for 3 years you get to know them quite well.
"Found it!" Casey happily says. We hear her running down the stairs. "Let's play some video games!"
"Have we got to? I hate video games, I suck at them," I groan and slouch on the sofa.
"Just one game?" Casey gives me the puppy dog eyes. "Pwease?" I roll my eyes and slowly nod my head.
