Regina walked into Henry's bedroom and threw the curtains open, earning a moan from the teenager. When Henry failed to move from his bed, she grabbed the bottom of his comforter and yanked it from his body.

"Mom!" he groaned.

"I won't tell you again, time for school."

The seventeen-year-old dragged himself from his bed, following Regina to the kitchen where his breakfast was waiting for him. He sat down in his usual spot, shovelling the scrambled eggs in like his life depended on it.

"Where's ma? Why haven't you dragged her out of bed yet?" he grumbled.

Regina turned around, staring at her son. Henry had never been a difficult child; he had always gotten on with his school work and been well-behaved, but recently he had been growing into the moody teenagers you see in the movies, and it was getting on Regina's last nerve.

"She was up all night," she said with gritted teeth. "Your–"

"Regina, leave the kid alone," Emma said as she walked into the kitchen. "Henry, go get dressed for school please."

Henry abandoned his plate and walked back to his bedroom without another word.

"You're too hard on him." Emma walked over to Regina and placed a quick kiss on her cheek. "He's seventeen. He's going to be moody all the time."

The two women sat down at the table and ate their breakfast in silence; the only sound in the room was the clinking of the cutlery against the plates. Lately, both of them had been exhausted, between work and their home life, they had barely any time or energy to set aside for them, and it was showing.

"I'm going in the shower," Regina said; she got up and left Emma alone at the table.

As Emma gathered the plates to take to the sink, she knew she had to do something to bring back the spark they had felt four years ago. Instead of washing the dishes straight away, she left them and walked back to her bedroom, walking straight into the en-suite bathroom.

Before the door could click behind her, Emma had stripped herself of her pyjama shorts and an oversized t-shirt, and she was walking into the shower, being careful not to startle Regina.

"Hey, baby," she said softly, her arms wrapped around Regina's waist, and she pressed a kiss to her shoulder.

Regina jumped at the contact at first, but she sunk into Emma's embrace almost instantly. Her head fell back on to Emma's shoulder when the blonde began to kiss up her neck, a moan escaping her lips when Emma sucked on the sensitive spot just below her ear.

"I've missed you," Emma said softly.

Regina turned around, placing a gentle kiss on Emma's lips. "I've missed you too."

The brunette pushed Emma back onto the tiled wall, pinning the toned body with her own. She moved Emma's hair to the side and kissed down her neck, taking extra care around the scar on her right shoulder.

"It doesn't hurt any more, Mills," Emma said, her break shaky when Regina's fingers moved through her folds. "It's been four years."

It had been six months since the trio had moved from Storybrooke to Boston. The morning Emma had almost left, her son and Regina stopped her. There had been no hesitation from Regina when Emma had suggested that they come with her; she had experienced a small amount of time as the blondes girlfriend, and she didn't want to give it up.
