I watched Antonio turn left to another hallway leading to the Science classrooms. I walked in and saw a girl sitting down listening to her music. She glanced up at me and smiled. I smiled back.
"Excuse me." I spoke loud enough for Ms. Arosco to hear me.
"Oh you again." She rolled her eyes.
"Okay well you're being rude, why did you even tell me to come to the office if you're gonna be a witch with a b"I thought to myself.
"Yes it's me. So what?" I fiddled with the the girls schedule.
"Violet, this is Diana she's your tour guide." I turned around behind me, the girl with the headphones got up from the plastic chairs and shook my hand.
"Let's go before she goes crazy on us." I smiled at her and left the door open.
"CLOSE THE DOOR!" You could hear Ms. Arosco yell.
"So your name is Violet?" I looked at her schedule.
"Yeah, and you're Diana correct?" She put her headphones away.
"Yep, that's me." I smiled as I walked her to her first period.
"Hey! You have pretty good teachers and all honor classes." I raised an eyebrow.
"Really?" She sighed in relief, "I thought I would be placed into a class filled with cool kids. If I was they'd force me to hang out with them."
"Forced?" I questioned.
"Well yeah," she started explaining, "when a new person comes to the school and they have good looks or a good taste in clothes they try to talk to you during class. First, they ask you to come by their hangout place or whatever you want to call it. If you go they totally leave you out and make you seem like a loner. The next day they ask if you went to their hangout place if you say yes they'll invite you again hoping you'll come and if you do then they start talking to you and following your Instagram, Twitter whatever."
"And if you don't go to the tree?" I asked.
"Then they force you, either by spreading rumors and stuff." She sighed.
"You seem as if you know so much about this." I handed Violet her schedule.
She took it. "Thanks, and well of course because that's what happens to all the schools I go to, which is why I moved to this school and asked for someone non-popular to show me around. Ms. Arosco showed me a picture of you saying you weren't so popular."
"What an asshole." I laughed, "it's true I'm not so popular, the only people that know me are just my close friends." I lied.
Everyone started talking to me just because I kissed Kyle.
Riiiiinnnng"Oh er- it's time for P.E. we have to turn around to go to the locker rooms."
Violet nodded and we walked to the locker rooms.
"Hey Bella." I started unlocking my locker.
"Hey." Bella showed no emotions.
"What's wrong?" I opened my locker taking off my shirt.
She sighed. "I'll tell you soon just not now."
"Oh.." I finished changing and looked at Violet who was still talking to our P.E. teacher about her locker.
•••
"Okay class." Ms. Stout cleared her throat, "Today I don't care what y'all do as long as you finish one lap around the track." She finished taking roll and blew her whistle.
Bella, Violet and I were already halfway around the track when Kyle caught up to us. Bella and Violet got along real well better than I excepted which was a really good thing.
"Hey Diana." Kyle put his arm around my waist, "What are we talking about?"
"Who's this?" Violet asked.
"Violet this is Kyle, Kyle this is Violet." I hoped she didn't ask anything else about Kyle.
"Oh okay, is he your friend or what?"
"Boyfriend." I turned to look at Kyle to see how'd he react.
An automatic smile appeared on Kyles face he pulled me closer to his side and looked down at me, Kyle stopped walking and kissed my forehead. Since we were one of the first ones you could basically hear everyone in the back saying their awww's and oooo's. But for some reason I didn't care, for some reason I felt safe when I was with Kyle.
For the rest of our walk, which wasn't very long, we talked about our tv show premiers and how amazing got disturbing they were. Kyle had his arm on my waist the whole way but I didn't mind it.
At the end of the period me and Kyle had to go our own separate ways, he kissed my cheek and we hugged before going into different hallways.
I sat down next to Addie as our teacher started teaching. A kid walked into the room and handed our science teacher a slip. He looked at it and looked directly at me. "Diana to the office." I looked at Violet who had taken a seat next to me. She raised her eyebrow and shrugged. I put on my backpack and carried my binder to the office.
There was a new lady sitting where Ms. Arosco.
"Excuse me?" I fiddled with my hands.
"Hello." The lady smiled at me. "Do you have a slip?"
"Uh yes ma'am." I smiled back hoping she wouldn't be rude.
"Awesome, you can go through the door."
I was confused. What happened with Ms. Arosco? I walked up to her desk and gave her my slip.
"Diana, your schedule changed." Her tone in voice didn't change it was still cheerful.
She clicked the print button and the printer did its work. Click Click Schwrr. Click Click Schwrr.
A fresh piece of paper came out and the lady handed it to me with a smile across her face.
"Thank you." I took the paper and left the office.
I took a look of my new schedule it was completely different.
Period 1 - Mrs. Gomez
Period 2 - Mrs. Gomez
"Okay." I sighed, "At least I have the first two periods with Bella.Period 3 - Mrs. Stevenson
Period 4 - Mrs. Worden
Period 5 - Elective
Period 6 - Mr. Turner
Period 7 - Lunch
I was confused but I didn't want to be late for my new class. It was forth period so I walked into Mrs. Wordens class. Everyones eyes were looking right at me. But only one persons eyes caught my attention. Antonio's.
"Are you one of my new students too? What school did you used to go to?" Mrs. Worden was curious.
"What? No my schedule just changed." I smiled and was looking for a place to sit.
The only seat was next to Antonio, I mean it wouldn't hurt if I say next to him.
What could go wrong? It's not like we'll actually talk.
