Fast Forward to Friday
Kyle. Kyle. Kyle. Kyle hasn't been texting me not answering me calls. I see him at school I see him every fucking period but he doesn't even talk to me. He doesn't hang out with me and my friends anymore, he hangs out with Daniel and Nathan and Andy and all the other fuckboys.
"He probably just used you for sex." Ariel shrugged as she chugged down her Monster Energy Drink.
"He's not like that though.." I played with my backpack strands.
"Go over and talk to him now." Ariel nodded towards Kyle and Daniel.
"Hell no." I laughed nervously.
"Bitch what the fuck? You were just complaining!" Ariel started laughing little did I know Kyle was walking behind Ariel and I.
"He wouldn't just use me for sex, why did he fight for me then? He got stitches for me! I don't know." I lifted my shoulders and let them drop forcefully, "I actually think I loved him, but it's all going to waste."
"You love me?" I heard Kyle from behind me.
I spun around quickly, trying to speak but no words came out of my mouth.
"Come on." Ariel pulled me and started walking faster.
"Wait!" I heard Kyle yell out, "Hang on man." He ran up to me and grabbed my arm.
Ariel rolled her eyes and pulled out her phone to record, mainly to tell everyone about it and have proof.
Kyle pinned me against the door to the girls locker room, "You love me?" His smile was worth a million dollars, his perfect white teeth shined. I looked into is ocean blue eyes.
"Yes, I really do." I flushed red.
"DIANA MCPHEE LOVES ME!" I've never seen him so happy, he exploded with glee and lifted me off my ground.
He had me in his arms lifting me higher, Kyle brought me down enough for him to kiss me romantically smiling throughout it.
He brought me down to the ground and replied, "I love you too." He kissed me again hugging me tightly.
Fast Forward to History
"Okay class today's period is going to be simple. I will separate you into groups the Loyalist and the Patriots and lastly the Neutralist. You groups will debate the Boston Massacre. Before you guys say anything, I know you learned about the American Revolution in 8th grade but the standards expect me to teach this again." Mrs. Worden rolled her eyes and starting assigning groups.
"Diana, Luigi, Leo, Kevin, and Lisa you five will be Loyalist." She pointed at the desks near the whiteboard. We all sat down, it was awkward at first but I broke the ice.
"Antonio, Cole, Joseph, Audrey, and Saul, y'all are Patriots." Mrs. Worden made then sit across from us.
"And the rest of you guys are the Neutralist. You notice that the Loyalist and the Patriots are the people that actually participate in class." She rolled her eyes once again.
"Here your prompt, Patriots," she spoke loud enough that the class next door could hear, "you will be debating that you want the soldiers to get out of your property."
She looked over to the Loyalist, "Listen up!" She glanced at the clock, "you guys will be debating why it's important to keep the soldiers around."
She clapped her hands, "Debating will now begin!"
I had to admit at first it was a bit awkward, adding Antonio staring at me non-stop. But I also started wondering why was Kyle ignoring me in the first place. Leo moved me shoulders and knocked me out of my trance. "Pay attention!" He whispered to me.
I nodded at watched the Patriots."You're soldiers are perverts." Joseph was the first to speak, everyone laughed but the laugh that always catches my attention is Kyle's.
"Excuse me but only 1% exactly were perverts. And why go into that problem when it's only 1%." I shot back.
"Well, " Antonio began to speak, "you're soldiers always come into our property and make us make them food, they kick out our children out of their beds and make them sleep on the floor."
Damn he was attractive.
I took a deep breath before speaking, "Listen, the solders are there to protect you! All they want is a place to sleep and a roof over their heads and something to fill their stomachs. It's your respect over their lives."
I left them speechless. It was at least 10 minutes of silence, so silent you could hear a mouse eating a crumb.
"I guess the Loyalist win?" Mrs. Worden began clapping and so did the class.
"Diana, Antonio and Joseph you get an A in my class for today."
That was a miracle, almost no one passes Mrs. Wordens class!
The rest of the day went by super fast, it was the end of the day and I wanted to meet up with Kyle.
"Kyle!" I yelled. He turned back and smiled, I smiled back a walked over to him.
"Wanna walk together?" I adjusted my backpack.
"Uh. Listen I wish I could but I have something to do.." He paused, "yeah I have something to do." He ran away.
"Ugh what I great fucking boyfriend I have." I cussed under my breath.
I turned around and saw Lena with Emmett I walked over to them hoping I didn't interrupt something.
"Emmett what the fuck? You basically used me for sex and now you want to break up with me? Just because I couldn't make you ***." Lena pushed him against the wall and walked up to me.
"I fucking hate guys!" She pulled me by me arm and started walking toward the guys locker room.
"Why?" I was curious.
(for those of you who don't remember who Emmett is, he's Brooke's brother mentioned on the day of the party (: )
Lena and I walked by the boys locker room but something caught my eye, I saw someone talking with Kyle. But who was it? "hold on." I told Lena and watched.
A girl was talking to Kyle but fuck I couldn't see who it was, suddenly Kyle spun the girl around and pinned her against the wall. They stayed there for a good 20 seconds before Kyle started slamming his lips against hers.
"KYLE WHAT THE FUCK?" Tears started rolling down my eyes and I couldn't take it anymore. I thought I finally had something special but no.
Kyle was pale when we saw me and Lena, "can I go fuck him up?" Lena clenched her fist. "Leave it." I wiped my tears and we started walking away. He didn't even say anything. I was heartbroken.
